You can talk to God without begging and grovelling, 'confident that he hears...whenever we ask for anything that pleases him. And...he will give us what we ask for' (1 John 5:14-15 NLT).
So, whatever is robbing you of your confidence in prayer, deal with it today.

The second wife chronicle got me thinking about my situation. I dyed this man when I was 35, his family is abroad too. We fell in love and he proposed, I accepted. He started postponing our introduction, I work and cater for myself, I am 40yrs now and he still hasn't married me,instead he is going around with another lady. Like someone said, my options are limited due to age. Od say this to young girls, if a married man proposes to you, do not take it to heart. I am still hoping for my own man, I made a mistake and if I want to hurt him, I will. His wife knows about me, but she didn't lift a finger, she does as if I do not exist, not my problem, I have learnt my lesson, I am glad a baby wasn't brought into this situation. He doesn't even give me money the way he sends to his family abroad, I don't complain about that because I have my own money. Be wise babes.

What a wonderful day to be alive even the Bible says in all things give thanks to God. I slept with a very heavy heart after going through BEP yesterday, God I have served you all my life or am I invisible? See depression, see thinking! No job no money no nothing, for how long will I continue life like this, we lost our job last year due to unforeseen circumstances. No one expected it to happen. Please if anyone has a job for me I am ready to resume, even if it’s a remote job I have work experience ๐๐๐

A PARAGRAPH REFLECTION
A joke was passed about a little boy who suddenly found that he had three wishes, as if a Gini visited him. So the boy decided to use his first wish on his maths teacher, made a wish that his teacher should be prevented from coming to teach him maths. And so the teacher became a cripple. Seeing the suffering and pains of his teacher's family, he used another wish to revert his previous wish, left with just one. He valued so much the last wish to the point that he was scared of wasting it, for a very long time, he treasured the last wish. Finally having thought for a very good time, he made use of the last wish; to know the right thing to always do! Dearly beloved, most times in life we have the opportunity to make our desires known to God, but like the first two wishes of this boy, we waste our opportunities away. The psalmist tells us that the only and most important wish is to dwell in the house of the Lord so as to savour the sweetness of his house. God's house is full of Providence, mercy and love as seen displayed in the gospel reading through the feeding of the five thousand men. Because whatever that comes from the Lord last and is satisfactory. Any thing you venture into that does not come from God cannot stand the test of time; this fact was well established in the first reading. So dearly beloved, have you asked well? Do you make use of your opportunities well? Do you wish properly? St. Catherine did her best to stay in the house of the Lord and till today she is still savouring the sweetness therein.

One day I was busy cleaning up my house when my little child came around to fall a glass decor which broke immediately.
I got so mad at him because it was an expensive decor gifted to me by my mom.I literally loved it so much and loved keeping it,so out of anger I cursed him saying:

_In case you are surprised,well cursing is almost part of SOME Arab regular speech which they usually utter without paying attention to...May God guide us all_
She said:
Years later I forget about the curse and didn't even care about it not knowing it was already raised to heaven.
My son grew up with his siblings and he became my most favorite child among others.He was so kind to me compared to his siblings.He studied and got employed until it was time for us to prepare him for marriage.His father use to have an old house he intended to demolish and rebuild.My son went with his father to the apartment complex while the workers were preparing to demolish it.In the middle of the work my son went away from his father,only for an unattentive worker to fall a big wall on him.My son screamed briefly and then his voice disappeared. Everyone rushed to his spot,removed pieces of rocks from his top,waited for the paramedics to arrive and save his life as they were not able to lift his body which its bones were crushed into pieces.
His father gave me a call to inform me of my beloved son's presence in the ICU. I passed out immediately,and as soon as I regained my consciousness it was as if the hour I cursed him was rewind in my eyes.I wept bitterly until I passed out again.I didn't regain back my consciousness except at the hospital I was taken to.I requested seeing my son and how I wish I didn't see him in that condition.I saw him at the time the heart monitoring machine stopped working and he took his agonal breathing .
I screamed and cried repeating:
How I wish he is back to break all precious decors I got.
How I wish I was dumb at the hour I cursed him.
How I wish and wish and wish that my wish will just be fulfilled.But of what benefit is my wish now!!!

DeleteI have an elder sister who has never used swear words even when provoked she'd say "may good befall you". I asked her one day after I don look for her trouble say why she dey always pray for anybody wey do her bad, then she told me that the power of life and death exist in the tongue, negativity and positivity exist in the tongue, and anger is only for a moment, so why destroy someone with your words when you could easily bless that person . I'm still trying to be like her by not using swear words but it's not easy.
