  3. I'm self employed and I also work for someone, I enjoy both because I've my freedom. The one I do for someone doesn't fetch me much money but I'm there for the knowledge I get everyday and also, to help me foot some bills as a student. I am at an advantage more than the person I work for because I learn from there and also get paid for it.

  5. I love it, money is super good, yearly iPhone and iPad. Company car - currently Mercedes and the car is changed to a brand new car every 3 years, I can choose from a big fat list of cars. All expenses paid for when I travel for work anywhere within the UK and can take my child along, they provide a crèche for my child and I only ever stay in Hilton hotel because gym is a must for me and my child loves swimming.

Last week we stayed in a hotel for 2 nights just because I had a 2hr meeting on one of the days lol.

I only ever spend my money on hotels and flights when I travel for leisure with my child. This year I have already been to the Maldives but I have Santorini(for my child’s bday), turkey and NYC(for my bday) trips booked.

I have no worries to God be the glory. I’m a single mum but only God did it for me. Without God I am nothing!

    4. You are lying. Very few people in the UK get an official car. It is not common there like Nigeria. I worked in a multinational in the UK on cross posting and even the CEO of my company did not have a company car. Even in Nigeria where official cars are common, no company changes official cars every three years - usually four or five years. Not hating. Just stating facts. Stop lying Madam. To think you mentioned God at the end of your lies.

I see my boss as a modern day Robin hood. And I'm being paid under the table till I get my TRV (Temporary Resident Visa), hopefully very soon.
I love my job, though not very functional in winter.

    1. Same experience with you, no employment letter, you have to beg to be paid salary, the boss is toxic, a liar, manipulative and wicked. I started searching actively and embarked on 21 days midnight praise and worship to God and I got a better job offer in the second week. God be praised.

  17. Stellasticide....stopeet o.
I've always always wanted to be an ashawo. I keep saying it because it's so true. Imagine a job where I have to act right, be responsible, talk well, look decent and even smile like a Colgate ambassador...infact I'm expected to dream big even though I get short time to sleep.
Why didn't I just be an ashawo for Jah's sake?? Ever seen an ashawo dressed decently or speaking Queen's English or acting like Angel Micheal's P.A.? Didn't think so. I'm starting to consider going back to basics sha. Does anyone know how much the Amateur (married) Ashawo is charging now? (Plus covid minus the war biko) if the price is right, I'll fire myself tomorrow.😌😌

  20. I'm doing it for the money because,if business doesn't go well in some months,I'm sure of an income coming in at the end of the day, albeit minute.
I'm tired of teaching with all the stress that comes with it and another reason is the discount given on parent staff's fee.
I can't wait to have my own shop or container. May the Lord help me as I'm working on that already.
