Who wouldn't want to marry sweet / adorable Sasksay? Fiance biko hold her o
ReplyDeleteI hope she slips away. Still very young and has huge potentials at just 22. I advice girls wait till 30 before saying yes. My reasons being she would be more mature to know what she wants and truly needs. I would have made a disaster of a choice if I had married any of the suitors that came for my hand after I graduated at 21. I am sure I would have been divorced by now. She would have built herself up to certain stability career/financial-wise then she can marry her class. I am not a fan of marrying up or marrying down.
DeleteBecause you married late doesn't mean is best to wait till 30, please nobody should listen or take that advise above,I'm in my late 30's and my period has reduced from 4days to 2days, menopause already knocking at the door,if you meet your man in your 20's and you're certain he is the man for you, please go ahead and do the needful.
DeleteMs sapphire some people desire having a family early over career.
DeleteAlso, a wise 22yo with the right partner can hold up a family and it won't ruin.
She definitely won't be marrying down the financial ladder!
Is 30 late?
DeleteWell I spoke as I would advise and what experience has taught me.
Your advice is not bad Ms Saphire.however if a lady desires to birth children, the earlier you start trying the better as it gets more difficult with age. So, from 25 upwards is okay.
DeleteVery late Ms saphire. Marrying in your 20's is the best thing that can happen to any woman
Delete30 is late,I was done with making babies at 31,if one gets the right man early it's okay to settle with him.your experience won't be another person's situation.
DeleteSapphire, your point of view is very valid as my journey is similar to yours, however, you need to understand that everybody's journey in life is different, I'm happy and content with where I am today, I married in my 30s, and I am an asset to my hubby in every aspect of life but it's not cast in stone that my sisters or my children must walk the same path as I did.
DeleteI had several people say back then that a lady will say because she has work/money, she doesn't want to marry, I will be wondering so if God blesses me with a job, I will refuse to work cos marriage hasn't come yet. Let's not now discourage those that God blessed with love/marriage early cos we will be doing the same thing to them that was done to us.
I will just advise young ladies to have a plan for their lives and a strategy to achieving that plan, hoping and believing that their spouse will be a blessing to them and propel them to achieve their goals. Congrats, Saskay, I wish you the best.
Married at 22. 27 years married now and doing very fine. We can’t all have the same experience.
