    1. I agree. Even cheating is because of love if you don't want to exhaust him/her with sex. I also know that beating is also a product of love since it's just to correct and it is one who is loved that gets to be corrected.πŸ™„

  3. I’m guessing men also beat their wives because of love and spouses cheat on each other because of love πŸ™„. It’s not compulsory to have a take on something to avoid misyarning abeg

Lots of women in this country are oyscholigally damage.you all need help.reasons a Nigerian lady hardly know how to love genuinely.. only few.they are all damaged from one abuse or the other.

  9. It's my considered view that this mindset is the antithesis of logical reasoning. There are women and men who nag and raise their voices, respectively, due to certain character flaws and certain personality types, it has little to do with love. Adjusting your "emotional barometer" to read the degree of affection by how well your woman nags or how loudly your man raises his voice, will only make a caricature of emotional intelligence. I disagree vehemently with this school of thought.

I find this mindset especially disturbing because I have, sadly, encountered a few women in physically abusive relationships who believe that their partners hit them out of love. Ridiculous! I know, but they genuinely and steadfastly hang on to that fallacious belief. I find a close affiliation between this mindset and that of Shan's.

The harsh truth and sad reality is, marriages will crumble regardless. Human beings are complex creatures with evolving mindsets and volatile emotions. It takes the grace of God for two individuals to remain in a healthy marriage for decades and still see forever in each other's eyes. Be that as it may, to each his own. If as a lady, you find justification in your man raising his voice at you... do you. Personally I would find it demeaning and highly condescending. You can disagree with your spouse without yelling. I also believe you can get your message across to your man without nagging. Let's choose healthier ways to express our affection. Love, respect and be kind to each other.

  10. There is now an overwhelming amount of information swarming the internet when it comes to marriage. However marriages are still failing and always have. All this advice does is promote the idea that women are still nothing unless they are married - in the eyes of Nigerians.

Maybe these celebrities can give girls/women more advice on financial literacy, building independence and mental health. If they can’t, then just take photos.
