Actress Inidima-Okojie's Fiancé Explains Why His 1st Marriage Crashed And How He Broke Up Many Times With Ini

Nollywood actress Inidima's man has explained how his first Marriage broke him and how he tried to break Ini...
He says he has healed and thanks her for 2nd chances....
Nice story!

His post says...

"Todays post is about 2nd chances
Today is the last day of the last month of me being single as I marry my baby next month. I was married before and have 2 girls (I used to post about my girls but as more eyes came to my page I stopped because as a father, protecting is my job). After 8 years of marriage (I got married at 26) we filed for a divorce in 2018. We were young and made mistakes and I had struggled with bouts of depression.

2018 was my toughest year ever!

Requesting a divorce was one of the toughest things I ever did but it was about survival. I am not accusing anyone… just speaking about my own struggles as a human being. Suffice it to say that my life has been the stuff you read about in books and I kept it all inside. Only those in my inner circle know my story and perhaps one day I might write about it.

Now back to 2nd chances.

Coming out of my earlier situation I never believed that I would remarry. I was wounded and hurt. I first reached out to Ini after we had commenced our divorce process via DM (we all know that story) but never met her in person till sometime in 2019. We started talking as friends and eventually started dating in the second half of 2019. (I remember when I told her about the circumstances of my divorce, her response was “that’s your version but I’m sure there’s another version that’s equally true”). But wounded people wound people. And every time I saw we would get close I would end the relationship because I was afraid of committing.

Yet when I was away from her I couldn’t function. This happened a few times and ultimately I had to seek professional help with a clinical psychologist to deal with my past trauma. What became clear to me was that she was my 2nd chance that I never thought I deserved. And I always functioned better whenever she was in my life.

Well maybe I’m sharing too much, but I have now received a lot of healing and continue to be healed. And as the good book says, “love covers a multitude of sins”, and her love for sure is healing me daily. Ini I am looking forward to saying “I do” in a few weeks time. Thanks for the second chance."

*Some things are not necessary at all..... This post is sweet but who ask am? This is how they keep updating and feeding the trolls...

    4. Abeg, it's not by age. It's greed and lack of self control. How old was Kalu the actor when he got married? How far the marriage today? Let's stop making excuses for badly behaved men

    5. @beds n roses that's because they marry what u call builder wives. The ones that build the man in2 the perfect man he wants to be to feel worthy of his actual spec. Sad but true. Why I said most men marrying b4 30 is not a good idea. It's plain as day what the agenda of those men is

  7. Hopefully your second chance isn't a rebound. That's how one guy told me he met me the week he left his wife and his wife was desperate to marry him. I just said oga, you are the desperate one, whatever is the real story, why should you want to jump into another relationship few days after leaving your wife? I will even be more desperate to accept because if you can sit here and call your wife desperate, only God knows how you would describe me in the nearest future. I'm not your rebound move forward and all the best.

  12. Hmm ok sha. Hope u have received therapy n healed very well. No woman is a rehabilitation centre for broken n hurt men

  13. R u people seeing it now? All the olori ike pressuring people to marry early without first advising them to ensure their mental health is paramount will not see this one. B4 u embark on a relationship with another person u have to make sure u have addressed all your traumas, low self esteem, childhood wounds n ensure ur self sufficient. So many people go into relationships hoping for their partner to make them happy, to complete them, to be their energy supplier, to be their therapists n that is not what relationships are about.

  14. I'm not sure I can advise any man under 30 to marry sha. Men mentally mature slower than ladies. Duno why a guy will be that young and considering marriage. That's how one 25 yr old guy I know went 2 go n marry his babe on top he wants to be seen as a responsible n the jokes and see finish from his seniors was too much. A week after his trad he is already messaging the girl he used to have a fling with talking about I made a mistake, already doing shina. This is someone that while he was single would proclaim that he would do shina while married n he is already rounding up his roster, barely a few months to the white wedding

  18. Ini has always been a calm headed girl since I started watching her. This guy better not carry her leg comot outside.

You have healed. Good for you. Seems he was the cause of his marriage break up with the way he evaded that. After all na him carry him wan explain himself.

  19. Stella it was necessary bcos ppl were dragging Ini saying she snatched someones horseband. D gist has been ard that d guy left his wife for her, so dis is a way of him tryn to explain himself and d time-lines...As for me was always wary of gettn involved with divorced men, no matter how much u explain Nigerians will still assume u destroyed a home, even if ur innocent

  20. Many of our women never get over their exes so marrying a divorced man whose ex is Naija feels like being in a polygamous relationship. The west is more brutal and clinical when it comes to divorce. No pressures from busy body extended families to say “you are still …”. People move on quicker. It’s easier if the ex is not Naija. I’m sure someone sympathetic to her leaked the story. Oyinbos rarely return once they are done so everyone keeps to court terms and moves on

    ReplyDelete
  21. A good thing I am seeing is that he went for therapy, which means he wants to give his second chance a better chance. Some Naija men refuse to ever admit they need help, talk less of seeking it out.

  22. Ini,this guy is not for you.Dont say we didn't warn you o

  23. E come even been akwiiiiiiibom man. How quickly he moved on is how quickly most men move on even if they don't tell you. Infact, the 1st girl they talk to after their divorce may be the one they end up with...even if the girl didn't want them initially. They , men always have plans . Young is no excuse, Even if his story is made up, he should remember with initially, he is now under greater scrutiny. Hopefully he will respect himself
