A Nigerian MC, Bonus Emmanuel Chigozie, has been accused of beating his pregnant wife, Itunu Lawal Emmanuel, to death.

He started cheating on her and the lady he was cheating on her with, threatened her several times to leave the marriage.
He continued abusing Itunu physically and the abuse increased each time she asked for the N2.7million she loaned him.
When she got pregnant with their second child, he abused her until the baby died inside of her. She was rushed to the hospital and we lost both Itunu and the baby yesterday, Thursday, March 10, 2022.

Glad I walked away,when the atmosphere in my home became toxic and he so close to laying a finger on me. His side chick was sharking his head then. That night he charged at me to hit me,I raised both hands and said, please don't hit me,I'm leaving. I can't forget that night. I had run into a room to allow the tension cool off when I thought it was calm,I opened the door and came out,he still tried to hit me. He had locked up my children upstairs and I shudder at the imagination of what would have happened that night.

He said when he was living with his sister and her family, he used to leave the house for some months whenever she gives birth.
I quickly talked to my legs.
I just imagined what would happen if one marries his type. It is his type that abandons the house and take solace in the arms of sidechicks when their wives give birth or they go out and come back very late at night, sleep, wake up, go out early and come back very late again or sleep outside, leaving the woman with the child alone in the house.
It happens, especially if the man was in the delivery room. Some of them can no longer see their wife as a wife after witnessing all that her body goes through during the birthing process.
