DeleteNormally I expect women to file for divorce.. I see women support their women through it to protect her mental health. I get it. Helloooooooo, It is rare for a man to protect his mental health from. His main reason for divorce .."empathy, apologies and most of all effective communication to understand the other persons perspective".. Let's forget the fact that she cheated on him.. He endured the cheating and still no humility, mutual love and respect.... etc Girl, you need to stop living in denial. Clearly, you have a lot of issues and lucky to marry an empathetic man. Please stop deflection this issues with your baby and sm... go and seek help before you damage your children. This is clearly a personality disorder. Whenever someone says ''lacks empathy and most of all effective communication to understand the other persons perspective" RED FLAGS...This lady hasn't confirmed nor denied the husband accusation because the man went supernova on her, something she didn't expect. She is still in shock and denial, deflecting and trying to control her sm image. Hellooooooo... Empathic people can take a lot for a long time but when they wake up. when they find that strength, they will destroy. Your husband has found his voice and strength. Please I urge you to start with a mature apology to your husband and tell your sm in-laws and friends that you need to work on self after reflecting on what your husband said, after all none of us are perfect. Tell ''pride'' to get away from me. Pride is a very dangerous thing. It has cost your marriage and husband(gone for good) but you have a small chance of friendship/co-parenting.. DeleteI'm an empath who went supernova about 2 years ago. Everyone's been scared of me since then. They send me messages asking me to "forgive them for whatever they did to me". I keep asking them to tell me what, but them fit talk?
I was surrounded by narcs for years and didn't know. From family to friends. Not sure how it happened, but I just woke up one day to realise how much of an idiot I've been. My God! I can't tell you the half of it.

ReplyDeleteNigerians are naturally ambitious. Very rare to see a complete stay-at-home Mum who is Nigerian in the US unless the person is schooling. Even if hubby is willing to provide for you and the kids, what of your family back home? Parents, younger ones, aging relatives? Black tax is real. With the hyper inflation in Nigeria now hmm. Visiting home alone per year can cost up to $5,000. Make una appreciate your family members in this abroad oh and not have unnecessarily high expectations, e no easy. Most men feel your family is not their responsibility which is true (even worse when white who doesn't know the culture of giving family), plus what if he has loans? How much is salary compared to cost of living in California? Day care for one kid alone? Rent nko? As your family expands your apartment must expand too. In Naija you fit live in one room with 2 kids, here you cannot.

Just the way we have Engineers are specialists in different fields (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil etc) so also do we have Doctors who are specialist in different fields.

I think she means he is a Doctor, not a physician. We still live in a world where once people hear Doctor, they think you are a medical doctor or physician. I think it is better to specify people's specialty when talking about what they do. Eg, He is a chiropractor, he is an optometrist, she is an audiologist, she is a physician. That way people get to know the differences in these fields. When calling their name, you can refer to them as Dr.X, Dr.Y, Dr.Z. But when talking about what they do, be specific. Don't just say he is a doctor, it tells one nothing cos that term is too broad.

That why many Nigerian marriages breakup when they relocate abroad.I still admire the indians i i dont know how they manage to remian married wherever they relocate to.
