ReplyDeleteThe train fine sha, as for the people there...no comment.
ReplyDeleteFor every train ride picture the present admin posts, the glory must go to the previous administration despite the wanton corruption and ineptitude of those at the helm at that time. If GEJ had dedicated more time to actually balancing books and working instead of getting drunk and unintelligent politicking, he would have been the best president Nigeria has ever produced especially considering the amount of money available at that time. His administration started all the serious rail projects and almost completed them. Even the new airports and second Niger bridge. That this government keeps posing with these old locomotives compared to the trains and coaches Ethiopia started later at about 20% our own cost (factoring in distance, terrain, etc), GEJ's administration squandered huge opportunities.
ReplyDeleteThe lesson in the GEJ debacle is that no one should rely solely on luck but have an actual plan when luck smiles on you and be laser-focused when it comes to execution. Remember you weren't elected to win a second term but to deliver results.
