INSIDE THE MIND OF A WOMAN GOING THROUGH MOTHERHOOD

I used to love cartoons, my television when on, was always on cartoon stations. I just liked it because it was mindless relaxation. It was a way for me to unwind after a stressful day.

My usual routine was to watch cartoons while reading a book and eating at the same time. For me this combo was the bomb but not anymore. My favourite cartoons now grate on my nerves since the kids started watching cartoons, they can watch the same thing over and over again.

The few times I have the television to myself, the last thing I want to watch is cartoon. I would rather do a chore than watch another episode of those cartoons.

I am addicted to cartoons cos of how often my kids watched it, now they dont anymore but i relax with cartoon and laugh out my ass..

Church gist

My church gives food stuff, shoes and clothes to the needy every other Sunday. Some women who are not so needy hijacked this gesture and turned it to their daily hustle. Young able bodied women who have one or two things they do for a living would go to the office every time they are sharing stuff to collect, they sell some of the clothes and shoes and also invite their neighbors to come to the church and collect. This had been going on for sometime.


Then the resident pastor was transferred and another pastor came in. This new pastor does not tolerate nonsense. He monitored the sharing a few times and marked some faces. The next time they came, he told them to go and work.
Now they only share to poor widows, poor single mums, poor old women, poor orphans and students.


The main gist is that one of those women who turned the church's generosity to a daily hustle and was stopped from further collection went round the whole place bad-mouthing the new pastor.

Many people whom she said these things to went and reported her to the church authorities. Last Sunday, her name was called during announcement and issued a strong warning.


Yesterday, she lost her last child.


She has been screaming that ABC church pastor has killed her child.


Stella and bvs, na the matter we dey settle since yesterday o.

So what happened to the child? surely it cannot be God dealing with her by taking her child!

PINKYS CORNER

On Sunday, an old man who is like a friend called me and asked me to come see him in his school.


I got to the school on Monday, he told me why he wanted me to come which I appreciated then I told him, I would have loved to work with him but for now,I can't leave my business because I just started and have to build it to a certain level before employing anyone to work for me while I do other things.

 I asked about his mathematics teacher and he said the guy is good at it but doesn't know how to promulgate the knowledge and the students complain all the time. I asked if I can talk to him(I planned putting the said person through cuz knowing much about a subject is another ball game to imparting the knowledge to people when it comes to teaching).


The school owner and I planned out a Not - so - Long - a - seminal(just like a teacher's program). This took place in the school hall on Thursday but this said teacher was feeling reluctant to attend, may be, because I once spoke to him personally before the program.(Note: during our discussion, he asked me of my qualification and I told him I'm an NCE holder, never told him I had other certificate but he is a B.sc holder in Mathematics). I taught them several things ranging from Classroom Management, Teaching techniques, Psychological principles of education, to mention but few.


After the Re-training program, the proprietor was so happy and handed to me an envelope which I knew it was money but could not count in front of him. The said mathematics teacher, came to me and he embraced me. He said and I quote "I wasn't happy with the idea of the proprietor bringing an NCE holder to lecture us but you proved me wrong". I smiled and told him, no knowledge is a waste and also reminded him to always teach the CHILD and not the SUBJECT.


When I got out of the school premise to get a bike to sango, I stylishly counted the money in the envelope and was surprised to count up to 20k which I immediately sent to someone to cover up some expenses.


All in all, do not be deceived by the book cover, even the abstract might be deceiving until you go through the pages.

Please guys I saw this from a group I'm in, I feel it might be of help:

 *Please post for Everyone and Hide My IDENTITY* I would have been a dead person lastweek if not God . I am a Caterer and i reside and do business in port harcourt, last week a man walked into my shop he said he works with a construction company and would be needing my services to deliver snacks where they were holding a meeting,after negotiating he made part payment. 

I called one of my old student to come assist me because the job was much. On the day i was to deliver the snacks i called him,then he asked me to board a vehicle going to Igbo Etche in rivers state,and when i get to chococho i that i should call him and he will send his driver to pick me, and i carried that my ex student along. 

When we got to the said bustop, he sent a bus with other persons inside too.. From that point we rode for almost 20 minutes, at these point i began to feel uncomfortable and so i looked back to see who the other passengers in the vehicle were,lo and behold the guy behind gave me a thunderous slap that i have never received since i was born and shouted at me wetin you wan see, with a gun in his hand. At this point i died 10 times and resurrected, we passed police check point and i tried to give signal to the police men on the spot, but they were too busy collecting 100- 100naira to notice were in trouble. 

After that checkpoint our eyes where tied, and we journeyed for another 30minutes before they finally stopped at a place. They untied our eyes, we saw people seating on the ground crying, immediately we dropped one of them there was calling an Alhaji on the phone that fresh meat don land and they were arguing price btw 3-4 million. When he dropped the phone he said we should take of our clothes that he wants to check something, we hurriedly removed our clothes and they gathered to check our breast ,one of them asked me what the mark on my tummy was, I told them it was from CS and they all exclaimed together “you don born”, I said yes 5 children ! 

They asked my student, she said she has 3children. They got angry and started shouting which kain bad market be this ones ,they were so furious .. i forgot to mention that all over the ground were decomposing bodies, i heard voices of people screaming inside the bush and the sound of people butchering like an abattoir. Men and women were coming and leaving with all sizes and shapes of coolers containing human parts.. In my mind I had concluded that we will soon be in coolers too, when the one that seemed to be their leader asked us who we will call to pay ransome since they can’t loose on both sides.

 I kept pleading, and out of fear mentioned one million and they refused ...they asked my student who was by now half dead from fear..she told them she had no one on earth except her kids,that her parents died when she was 9 and the father of her kids just abandoned them and disappeared (which is true)..that she just came to assist me for the job,so she can have something to take home for her kids... 

They collected all I had and tied back our eyes and asked a bike man to drop us off close to the road. I got home to see my 5 children crying and I couldn’t stop crying myself. how would they have survived this wicked world without me? 

My student is still in shock till now.. Pls thank God for me and be safe Please don't be too anxious of business and money o. You can see that some contract could be end of the road. Not all calls for business or delivery order is genuine. *Always pray to God for Protection and for that of your family members; He saves.*
