    Observe what keeps God's Word from working effectively in your life:
    (1) Worrying that God won't take care of you.
    (2) Thinking if you had more money, a bigger house, a better car, or a more attractive appearance, you would be happier. Here is the question: do you remember when you thought your career, the house you live in, and the financial portfolio you acquire would make all your worries disappear? But it doesn't work that way, does it? The more 'things' you have, the more you have to lose, protect, maintain, and be concerned about. Worrying about material things can 'choke' the life out of you!
    Peace and happiness come from trusting God for what you need; knowing if something is right for you, he will provide it, and if it's not, he will give you something better. An amazing thing happens when you meditate on God's promises. Your worries shrink, your mind and attitude are reprogrammed, and you enjoy life more. Jesus said, 'Seek the Kingdom of God above all else...live righteously, and he will give you everything you need' (Matthew 6:33 NLT). So today, put prayer and Bible reading at the top of your to-do list.

    Human beings and this marriage of a thing ehn
    So yesterday morning I went to drop my children at school and then proceed to the market. I was walking with one of my neighbors,she lives same street with me as were going same route. She's my age mate but older than me in months.

    Our estate chairman was driving past and he saw us. We both greeted him.
    The man decided to share the reply to our greeting this way🤷🙄🤷🙄🤷🙄

    To the other lady that was walking with me he said.... Good morning to you too MADAM. How is Oga and the children? ( she has two kids). Do have a good day and God bless you

    Turning to me he went.... Morning to you my dear. UFAN ABADIE? ( Meaning how are you my friend. It actually to stress the difference in age, status and every every). Bye bye children ( talking to my kids now)

    This may not sound like a big deal to some but after he drove past,it got me thinking what point he was trying to make by making that distinction ( I may be reading too much meaning to this though)
    When I told my friend this much later in the day,she told me that that's one of the perks of getting married. You will be respected. That I am not perfect yet I'm being choosy( according to her)
    Little wonder so many women will rather die put in marriage.

    Does the fact that I get lonely sometimes mean I should walk with eyes open into another mistake?
