Ordinarily, cholerics are achievers and have no tolerance for lazy, disloyal, indecisive, unintelligent and excuse makers. Jesus Himself was a choleric and same goes for most key apostles who established the foundation of Christianity. Cholerics are only bad when they negatively channel their energy.

ReplyDeleteDear Tonto, if you ever read this, know that it is well. I pray that, the holy spirit ministers to you and teach you more about this Christian walk. I can't even blame you; I have been there so I know exactly what you feel. The key is you serve God without expecting anything back. Try knowing Christ for yourself, read your bible and ask the holy spirit to explain to you.
You see all these preachings of sowing seeds to gain something from God? Avoid them because that's not how it works and that's the beginning of a lot of depression and anxiety in the church. You can give out freely without expecting a reward just because you will like to see God's work reach the end of the world but not because you want to be blessed. Do not go ahead of the holy spirit, rather let it lead you. Ask for His guidance. If you can't fast for 40 days, don't stress yourself, if you can't pray for one hour don't bother because if you do, you will break down and you might question God. However if you allow the holy spirit to lead you, you will gradually develop the strength to do more than you can ever think or imagine. For now, let your focus be on building a relationship with God gradually. Take him as a friend, chat with him, ask him questions, read the word. May the peace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.
