In the amended process it filed before the Federal High Court in Abuja, the federal government increased the counts in the initial charge it preferred against Kanu.
The IPOB leader, who has been in detention since his alleged abduction from Kenya and repatriation to Nigeria, faced a seven-count treasonable felony charge.
He will now enter his fresh plea to a 15-count amended charge marked FHC/ABJ/CR/383/2015, and signed by the Director of Public Prosecution, DPP, M. B. Abubakar.
The charge was amended barely 24 hours before the scheduled commencement of hearing by trial Justice Binta Nyako.
from daily post
They're always filing, shey the file no dey tear ni?
ReplyDeleteππ Good question
DeleteLmao!
DeleteThey will tire. Lol
DeleteThis case go dey dia tire till after 2023 election.
ReplyDeleteThat's just the bitter truth
Na you true you talk, oga Pinky.
DeletePikin wey say im mama no go sleep,im sef too no go fit sleep
Hmmmmmm
ReplyDeleteThe government don't really want this case to be tried. How can they file new charges a day to a court ruling? What do they aim at? A possible adjournment right? It was over two months of the last court appearance, and the government couldn't file amendment until yesterday knowing the case is today. What a joke of a country and abuse of the legal process.
ReplyDeleteThis delay tactics implored by the government is a clear indication that they have no case against this man. If truly they did, they would hurriedly start and end this case as to send him to jail. Won't that be good to them? So why the delay? Almost the same charges Justice Binta Nyako threw out in 2017, Malami went and brought back again, thereby delaying the court from a speedy trial.
This is what they did the first time for over two years they couldn't tried him and it's getting to seven months again this second time and they keep running from their own court. The defendant have given the go-ahead to defend himself. Why is the government imploring delay tactics on this case? You said he is 'guilty' then prove it beyond every reasonable doubt and send him to jail or are they afraid to do that?
This is not just a trial of one man but millions of Biafrans. Nnamdi Kanu hold in him the aspirations of millions of people. The government should thread with caution.
ππ€£π Pele! Eesah,where you at?
Delete*do
DeleteI sincerely believe that the guy should jailed
DeleteThey are confuse o. They will keep filing fresh charges until they add Buhari as his second in command without knowing.
DeleteHmmmmm!!!
ReplyDeleteBuhari will not release Nnamdi Kanu until he leaves Aso Rock next year.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely true something
DeleteIf Buhari could deal with his brother(El Zakzaky)from the North that did nothing and held him for more than 3years, then Nnamdi Kanu should not expect to be treated with kids gloves after all he's done. He's gonna remain there till 2023 and answer to all the killings in the East. Still can't get over the death of Dr Akunyiliπππ
ReplyDeleteHonestly, there is blood on Kanu's hands. Bloodshed that could have been avoided. He has murdered sleep, he too will not sleep henceforth. Eod.
DeleteThe killings done and still being done by his supporters, it is truly troubling.
DeleteMNK and his followers desecrated the land with blood of innocents. BIAFRA BUILT ON THIS FOUNDATION WILL fail because their blood will keep calling for justice
DeleteIs it Buhari that doesnt have blood on his hand?
Delete@Mao Akuh, oya go and arrest Buhari nahπππ
DeleteGood answer @kidjo, oya go arrest buhari nahπ π π π
DeleteI'm probably the only human in this Nigeria that doesn't understand this Biafra and not interested in understanding it.
