Advice 

No matter what your new year resolution is, The type of people in your life has a lot to do in your journey of life. Never start a new year without screening the people in your life. 

Evaluating them will let you know who to upgrade, downgrade, or totally terminate. Always remember that, not everybody deserves the special guest star to participate in the movie of your life. Anyone who is not adding any value to your life shouldn't be in the front line of your life.

 The dream of a sadist is for every body to be miserable in life. Those who cannot see greatness in their own life will never see anything good in your own life.

 Whoever sees or treats you as an option doesn't deserve to be a priority in your life.

 Never put temporary people in the permanent place of your life, and don't be afraid of removing the wrong people from the right place of your life. 

If its your life then its your right. Be bold to take any decision concerning your life. No matter the economy of the jungle, lions will never eat grass. Even if education is free, a rat will never go to the same school with a cat. 

You can never go anywhere with negative people. Negative people are like cars without gas and engines. You can only sit in them, but they will never take you anywhere. 

Always remember this: Never ever embark on a life journey with someone who is not going anywhere in life, or willing to add value to your life. 

Believe in yourself. 

In everything, ask God to see you through and perfect your imperfection.

INSIDE THE MIND OF A WOMAN GOING THROUGH MOTHERHOOD



It’s been a year plus since I had my last C section. When I am exhausted there is this tingling and slight pain that I feel around my scar. I have been giving it time to go away since I was told that it can take up to a year for complete healing from C section in and out.

Yet I still feel the tingling sensation so I decided to Google about it as much as I could. I read a lot from mild to scary complications that can happen to a C section scar years later. I had to stop at some point for my own sanity sake, so I decided to ask other mothers on different online forum and it turns out that a lot of women are living with the after effects of child birth that doesn’t seem to go away even years later.

Some women complained about back pain that keeps recurring, some joint pains and migraine and a lot of women complained about pain and numbness in their Cs scar years later. One woman said twenty years after her C section she still feels pain when she does things that are strenuous. This complains were not just from C-section birth but vaginal birth too.

This is not to frighten anyone, its actually to encourage we mothers to take care of ourselves more. There is just so much going on with us, mentally, physically, emotionally, spiritually etc. Please let’s take care of ourselves more.

From my findings nothing can really be done about the pain I feel, apart from pain killers I am just supposed to try and rest more, I hope it stops. 

This year I promise to do my best in taking care of myself more...





Years on, i also still feel some kinda discomfort at the C section.... Even the point where that injection is given hurts sometimes and i have to use all sorts to take care of myself. I have a hot water bottle that works sometimes in place of pain killers... I have friends whose kids are already married who still have pains from C section and after effects of natural birth..... Women are awesome!

There was a time my family kept moving from one place to another in search of greener pastures, it was so bad we barely used a year in a particular location and whenever we are moving, we leave behind the little acquired resources we have managed to gather to start over elsewhere . 

And because its usually expensive and difficult to move properties around, we always ended up empty, broke and broken in the new location. By the time we move to another place again, we start all over from scratch and if things are not going the way we expected it, we move again and on and on like that.
Like, three years, six relocation. It was so tiring, frustrating and draining.

 How can a human being suddenly become a vagabond like this? Totally depressing.


One fateful day, I told my husband point blank we are not moving again because i am tired. We agreed to stay put and put patience to action. This decision was further solidified when I was reading the Bible one day and came across two striking scriptures, Psalm 37:3, "...dwell in the land and verily thou shall be fed" and also Psalm 24:1, " The earth is the Lord and the fullness thereof..."


I came to the realization that it doesn't matter where I may be or find myself, I command prosperity because God my Father who owns everything has my interest at heart.


Stay where you are this year! Its time you stop running around, do good there and thou shall be blessed, the land will yield, you will eat the milk and honey thereof when you exercise faith, praises and Thanksgiving.


I wish you a fulfilling 2022.

Hmmm this does not apply to everyone... Some people need to change location this year...

IJEOMAS GIST CORNER

Back then in the villa, we were in the village choir. Na so we go choir practice one evening, one of the women in the church came for evening prayers. She was the only one there in the church with us.

We were having choir practice and having fun, laughing and playing with the brothers in the Lord, lol. Mama was at the alter praying seriously oh, we didn't know that she was just moving her mouth to make us believe she was praying. Na so we do choir practice finish and said goodbye.

Next day being Sunday, we wore our choir robe and sat magnificently in the choir roll waiting to sing the song we rehearsed the previous day; oooooooooh hallelujah


Time reach for special number, na him mama raise her hand, sey she get special number. Pastor called her to the alter amidst clappings and cheers to encourage her.


Mama collect micro phone, ladies and gentlemen, na the song wey we rehearse, wey we don wear robe to present, na him mama come dey sing so, hahahahahaha. Chai we die wake up. It's not as if she sang it well oh, she use knife butcher the song. 

We the choristers were fuming with anger, whosai, mama no wan hear, she was demonstrating as she butchered the song.


Naso choristers vez eehh. Time reach for choir ministration, we no gree stand go minister for alter. Pastor was confused, he walked up to the angry faces and asked what the problem is. We tell am sey mama don already sing choir song give church. 

 We left choir ministration for her for weeks, na church finally settle the matter and warned her never to try it again



Una for sing better version of wetin she sing nah, no need to vexs....lol
