IPOB Supporters And Security Operatives Clash At IPOB Leader Nnamdi Kanu's Trial

Supporters of Nnamdi Kanu who were in large numbers clashed with members of security operatives at the Federal High Court in Abuja on Tuesday, January 18,2022.







According to PUNCH, the supporters kept on chanting, “Holy Holy Holy, Nnamdi Kanu is another saviour”.
.
The leader of the proscribed group, Indigenous People of Biafra, was arraigned in the Federal High Court over some amended charges leveled against him by the Federal Government.

    As expected, the case adjourned till tomorrow as a result of the newly amended charges which usually comes less than 24hrs to a court hearing. This is the six times since 2015 they have amended their charges and I believe they will amend again. They keeps running from their own case and court.

    If the people decided to sing Holy Holy to Nnamdi Kanu as their saviour, is it a reason the Security operatives will clash with them? Seeing the caption, I was hoping to read IPOB threw stones or assault a security personnel as a result of the clash.

    Nigeria won't stop amazing me.

      Igbos don’t fail to amaze me. They it was who brought all the problems we in the South are going through today.
      When Azikiwe went into an alliance with the North, the Igbos hailed him as the Father of modern Nigeria. At the same time they called Awolowo, who had asked that the North be allowed to develop on their own, a TRIBAL leader! Today it is the same Igbos who want out of Nigeria.
      Awolowo and Ahmadu Bello wanted a SECESSION clause inserted in the Constitution, but the Igbos refused because they saw themselves as the ordained rulers of Nigeria. Today the table is turned and they want to secede unfortunately there is no secession clause in the Constitution.
      They supported Azikiwe blindly just as they supported Ojukwu and today they are supporting Kanu. A people who cannot curtail or advice their leaders, rather they make them feel like demi gods and urge then on to their ruins. Now Kanu is the new Saviour abi? Kai Igbos!
      In 1966 due to their over sabi, they turned the country into the unitary one we now have today. The man that drafted the Unitary decree is none other than (Professor) Ben Nwanbueze. Today he is the same man calling for the RESTRUCTURING of the country! How short-sighted can the Igboman be! And they want to include my area (I am from the South South) in their stupid Biafra? Over my dead body!
      EVERY major decision taken by the Igbos when it comes to national politics have turned out to be wrong, why would anybody what to be in a country run by an Igbo man?
      Buhari TWICE turned to the Igbo tribe when he wanted a Vice President but did they see the opportunities being given them? No! Their usual lack of political sagacity came through.
      Now the man turned to the Yorubas and they grabbed it with both hands, and the Igbos can’t stomach it. They say Buhari hates them rather than admit they f*cked up. They pray and wish every bad thing should happen to Buhari and Nigeria. I asked an Igbo friend the other day to tell me exactly ONE thing that Buhari did to the Igbos that they hate him so much. My friend could not say a thing!
      I have not seen a group who are so easily moved by emotion rather than deep pragmatic thinking. For a people who are so well read and travelled, they sure are a let down.

    Nnamdi Kanu is not fit to be Biafra leader, the Igbos should know this and know peace. he's only going to succeed in dividing the small unity you folks once had and lead many to their early grave.
