    LIE THAT MUST TURN TO A TESTIMONY UPDATE

    Before 25th Dec my husband suggested I tell them that my menses just ceased instead of saying I had a miscarriage.

    I agreed but it was difficult. I summoned the courage to tell mumsy on the 29th that it was a ceased period after my flow came out that morning.

    I apologized to them that it was just over excitement that made me believe I was pregnant without proper examination.

    Though I feel terribly bad about everything but I had my Peace without borrowing to travel or to eat this January.

    Still praying for God to come through for me in terms of another job and child.

    There was a time in my childhood days I had a brawl with a boy. I had told him I could help him use scissors to trim the punk his mum barbed for him with blade.He was happy and he sat well for me to use the scissors perform wonder on him. The moment I put the scissors and remove it, I had already uprooted a huge chunk of hair from him and I totally spoilt his nice looking punk.He cried and chased me and telling me that one day, he would do his own back and I would cry.I didn't pay much attention to his words and for five years, I considered it a play. I never saw this guy again until a while ago I decided to barb my hair.I had been keeping my hair for over a year to plait it or even do some nice hairstyle with it. I told this barber to give me a clean afro.This bros applied oil on the blades and it made the usual annoying sound and in one clean swift, he put the clipper on the hair I was keeping and scraped a wide part from it. I could see my skin head from the mirror.He looked at me and said 'Remember me bro?'

    When it comes to your tongue, here are three rules:
    (1) Don't speak too quickly. 'We all make many mistakes. For if we could control our tongues, we...could...control ourselves in every other way' (James 3:2 NLT). Because you can never be totally aware of all the sensitivities of a person, you must rely on the Holy Spirit to direct your speech in a way that doesn't tap into their pain or other negative experiences.     (2) Don't respond too quickly. 'To answer before listening - that is folly and shame' (Proverbs 18:13 NIV). Before you speak, listen and make sure you understand what is really being said. And if you don't - say so. Your need to 'look good' can cause you to lose the respect of the person you're seeking to impress.
    (3) Don't commit too quickly. Solomon writes, 'Do not be rash with your mouth, and let not your heart utter anything hastily before God' (Ecclesiastes 5:2 NKJV). Then he goes on to explain how we shouldn't try to drop out of a commitment by saying we made a mistake. Your word is your bond, and when you break a promise, you hurt people and forfeit their trust. So pause before you speak, and if need be, take time to pray. Your time and your words are two things that can never be taken back, so carefully weigh what you say.

    One of my favorites stories in the Bible is the story of David. I also like the story of Joseph. What stands out for me in the story of David is that God from the days of David till now usually choose His best from the least qualified.

    Other lessons in the story of David for me are: your enemies are the closest to you. David had to first win the battle with his own brother Eliab and the King Saul, who he was trying to protect, before Goliath. The people who do not want you to succeed are your own people not the "enemy".

    Another thing is that it is from the little things that we do that God prepares us for greatness, so we should be proud of and learn from every role we get. That's how David metamorphosed from shepherd boy to king.

      Unavailability have a way of tainting our emotions. The more those ones ignore you, the more you pine for them.

      If the ones you want are ignoring you, it means they are no good for you. Don’t make relationship the focus in your life. Be kind to yourself and enjoy the attention you do get..just maybe, you might find someone amazing out of them. 💛

    So my neighbor's 2 yr old was kept in my house cos his mom was running an errand and it was in the evening.

    So my children were eating different snacks and this child kept looking at them obviously longing to eat too, but no matter who,how or what we offered him , he refused.
    He didn't take any, but I could see he really wanted to.
    I was torn in between pride and admiration for his self control, and frustration that he was hungry.
    His parents are doing a good job.

    What a remarkable young boy.

    Good morning beautiful people, my family and I have been very busy since this year. My sister had her wedding and trad yesterday. The temptation that followed this year is something else. The boxes containing her bags and everything she wanted to use for the wedding was waybilled from Lagos on the 31st of December, 2021 and was to be delivered at Onitsha that same day. People of God, as I type this, the boxes have not been found.
    My sister cried her eyes out, her eyes were so swollen, we had to rent and borrow new dresses for her.
    The wedding was so LIT even after everything the devil did. It was this morning we got a call from Chisco park that they have found the boxes.
