When is the right age for a child to clean up after number two by his/herself.
ReplyDeleteI suggest from 6 years, anything earlier than that nay result into him or her messing the place up, washing of hands is also important after the use.
DeleteFrom Age 7 or 8
DeleteNo right or wrong age per say, but when that child can bathe his/herself
DeletePlease house, can I ask my school to send my bsc degree transcripts to Wes, then later used the notarized results to apply to Asian or European unis for MSc. Is it possible.
DeleteI am asking because, it's over 3months I applied to get a student copy of my transcript, something that they wrote takes 2weeks to be sent to an email you provided. Nothing up till now. And scholarship application starts in February. I'm really tired of Nigeria's lackadaisical attitude to education.
Anon 14:47, it's better you go to your school's transcript office to complain or send someone. Tell then about the urgency of the student's copy of your transcript.
DeleteAlright. Thanks Adire
DeleteNigerian schools have stopped sending to personal locations, you have to provide an institution within Nigeria and also tip someone there to retrieve it for you.
DeleteI have trying now for 5months
How can I get my baby to sleep especially at night without breast. Like she wakes up several times at night and except u put the breast in her mouth, she won’t go back to sleep and will start crying.
ReplyDeleteP.S she is not hungry because she will just suck for a few seconds and fall back asleep.
I intend to stop breastfeeding when she’s 1 and this is starting to bother me because of this dependence on breast to sleep.
And no, I won’t be able to do the cry it out method. I can’t stand her crying at all
Any other suggestions will be very much appreciated
I started giving my son yoghurt 2mths to when I weaned him. Like say btw 2am-3am. That is after feeding him by 10pm or 11pm. And then he'll sleep through the night like that. That's what I did because of his attachment to sucking at night. And it wasn't very difficult when I finally stopped breastfeeding him.
DeleteGive her a pacifier/binky/dummy instead.
DeleteFidel, she already takes yoghurt but she doesn’t take bottles so that wouldn’t work
DeleteAnon, my baby totally refused to take pacifier since she was about 3 months old so that’s like out of it for me
I didn’t use pacifier for any of my kids pls don’t it’s for lazy mother’s
DeleteAnon 15:04, na wa for this ur mindset. I bet u are one of those women that judge mothers just for the fun of it because I don’t understand how u will call a woman lazy for giving her child pacifier. Na wa
DeleteAnon 15:04,learn to talk. Which one is lazy mothers? 🙄
DeleteIt's pple like you that crucify women for birthing through CS or not breastfeeding exclusively. Learn to improve on your emotional intelligence.
15:04, it is not right to say "it's for lazy mothers'" no two kids are alike; some kids do well with pacifiers others reject it out rightly.
DeleteHave you tried giving her water instead? It worked with my second baby, that's if likes water though
DeleteWell if all else fails, you’ll have to do the cry out method to deal with the breast dependence which will get worse for you in terms of your sleep self. You need sleep to function well and so you’ll be emotionally and mentally there for her and take care of her. If you don’t sleep well you’ll find yourself irritated all the time and yelling self. She’ll cry for few days, or tops 1wk. Your child also need to sleep through the night for proper brain development and emotional growth. So Choose one. Goodluck.
DeleteGive her children drink with straw whenever she wakes up at night.
DeleteI breastfed for 18 months . My baby to slept with breast in her mouth. How did I stop her ? Cry it out. When she woke up in the middle of the night to suck, I would wake up and make her food. She would cry then eventually eat. Within three days she stopped waking up. That was how I weaned my child
DeleteDoes anyone have an idea about Nylon business
ReplyDeletePure water packing bag and bread Nylon
How do I open xlsx files on iPhone 13? It doesn’t open. Please help!
DeleteThis is a good business but location, source of supplies and capital is key. Where do you intend to get your goods. The interest on nylon is like provision business. The key word is turn over. If you have a good location especially near a market where turn over is high. Embark on the business. You will not regret it. Remember not to establish it near a wholesaler If you are not selling in wholesale because people will not mind to enter taxi to your competitors shop because of N50.00 difference. Lastly don't depend on pure water factories or bakeries around you for sale because most of them make their own nylon or buy direct from manufacturer
DeletePlease I need a review on R...le maternity hospital or can anyone suggest a good maternity hospital on the mainland?
ReplyDeleteAlso at what week should one register for antenatal.
First time mom.
Thank you
Do you mean Mother and Child in Surulere?
DeleteI gave birth to my first child there. It wasn't a bad experience, just that there are a lot of women using their services too, so you'd have to go there very early on the days you have antenatal, in order to see the doc early.
You can also try the one in Lagos Island, close to St Nicholas hospital (I have forgotten the name), it's very good and well equipped.
... And you should register for antenatal as soon as you confirm that you're pregnant. You'll be going once a month for now, and increase the frequency as you approach your due date.
IMPORTANT: start taking folic acid
Island Maternity.
DeleteThanks Priceless Elly, the one I was referring to at Lagos Island is called Island maternity.
DeleteThank you @13:45 for the detailed explanation.I've been avoiding taking folic acid cos I don't like the smell and can't stand any smell at the moment but just took my first dose after reading this. Will keep at it.Remain Blessed
DeleteTake the folic acid last thing at night. It made me too vomit back then when I took it in the morning. The smell is awful
DeleteWhich anti-aging products can I get in Nigeria please? I'm in Lagos
ReplyDeleteCollagen supplements
DeleteOr collagen injections/drips.
DeleteGlutathione is good too. MSM is good too. Diatomaceous earth too
DeleteOh I've heard of Diatomaceous Earth. Can you recommend any particular brand? I am not the anon in question.
DeleteYou will still age. There's no escaping nature
DeleteCheck ones on amazon with good reviews.must be food grade no go buy poison.anon 15.46 but one can age gracefully too. I’m 50 no grey hair breast still standing after breastfeeding 2 kids
DeleteGrey hair is not necessarily a sign of ageing, genetics play a role. Ageing gracefully is not achieved solely by popping pills, lots of other factors determine it.
Delete16:24 Thank you very much. Will check.
DeleteGood day everyone, i try to open my Facebook account with my new phone but have forgotten my password. And there's no way to access my old Facebook. How can I retrieve my old Facebook account without my password.
ReplyDeleteIf you have a recovery mail or phone number, just click forget password, then the link to rest password will be sent to you
DeleteClick on forgot password.
DeleteThere'll send a link to your email or phone where you can reset it... I think
Pls how do I preserve kolanuts for months before use.
ReplyDeleteFind banana or kolanut leaves and wrap them and place it in a cool, dark place...
DeleteThanks Phoenix.
DeleteBiko how do I preserve fresh palm oil for long. I put the jerrycan on a thick log of wood, seems it isn't enough.
There is one palm oil we have in our kitchen it has been there for close to 2 years and has not gone rancid...Just place your jerrycan in the cupboard; in a cool, dark place
DeleteMake sure of the quality of the palm oil too as some can stay just 6 months some can stay more than 1 year
Pour salt in it and do not leave it on the bare floor

DeleteMy SDK family in Jos please come.to my rescue. I got a job last December and was posted to Jos. I have never been to Joe before and l have been jobless for too long to reject the offer. I am a matured single Christian lady. Due to the insecurity in Jos. What is the best place to rent a one bedroom flat and what is the price range.
ReplyDeleteApata was an Igbo and Christian dominated area when I was there, I haven't been in Jos for a while though, maybe those there currently may know better areas.
DeleteBased on my stay in Jos, places around rayfield is recommendable.your budget should be between 200 -270k (my guess)
DeleteIs this Ekaette? You can also ask people around too. May no trouble comes your way
DeleteWhat part of Jos is the office located? Do you want somewhere far or close to your place of work?
DeleteRock haven is not bad either,I used to live there,it a Christian area, gada biyu,or west of mines,it depends on the location of your office,
DeletePlease someone should explain to me
ReplyDeleteWhat's the meaning of plastic I'd and how do i get to notice it?
Plastic ID is darker as in back
Delete*black
DeleteGood question
DeletePlastic id is black, it is used when you are not signed into your Google account. You will type it in when you click on the box below "reply as". It will bring Google account, name/url and anonymous, you type in your name when you click on name / url. Sometimes people's IDs appear as black or plastic due to network. You can't delete comment in plastic id, it's like Anonymous.
Deletewho has idea on how process masters study in norway.thanks
ReplyDeleteFor the past one year now I've been having menstrual-like cramp occasionally. I've tried to track my menstrual cycle to predict at what point it comes but I've noticed that it's haphazard. It comes anytime. I've done two pelvic scans relating to this complain but nothing was found. I did one at a reputable lab in Surulere and another at FMC. My period is regular and of normal flow. But I'm worried. I'll be 30 later this month and not yet married.
ReplyDeleteIs this normal? Should I be worried?
The scan said you should not be worried. It might be cramps that come with ovulation (some women experience it).
DeletePlease between USA and Canada which one is more preferable to give birth?
ReplyDeletePlease help a sister...
Canada I believe
DeleteIt depends on why you want your child to be a citizen.
DeleteI'd say choose Canada as the benefits for their citizens are better than US e.g free health care.
USA is because your child becomes a citizen.
Delete16:04, they don't become citizens anymore at birth like before
DeleteBvs,
ReplyDeletePlease between Lagos, Abuja and Portharcout, which would be the best place to relocate in search of a job, and pls I would love you to give me your reasons.
Lagos , In places like Abuja, getting a job is by connection or God's grace. Portharcourt is cool but Lagos is a very busy place where you'd definitely get something to do without knowing or paying anyone for a job.

DeletePlease, does it make sense to run MSC online? I am a very busy guy that I barely have time for anything offline. Some Nigerian universities have offered me admission letter but couldn't enrol. Money is never an issue at all! I'm boxed up(to God be all the glory). What good online universities do you recommend? I intend to run courses in health, not medical related courses. Example, public health
ReplyDeleteTry Abu zaria distance learning(check if there is a centre in ur state),they offer masters in public health and if u are serious u wil finish in less than a year.
