Victoria Inyama and Sandra Achums reigned when Nollywood was Nollywood but both abandoned their careers for greener pastures in the UK and Germany....
Victoria shared this epic throwback photo of when both were still actresses and wanted in every movie...
Wow! They are looking great. Sandra, very tall and beautiful lady.
ReplyDeleteYeah, with her hot legs..
DeleteAre you sure you remember Sandra Achums very well? She was an amazing actress. Good to know they are doing very well.
DeleteI do Ms Saphire. She lived very close to my friend.
DeleteFine chicks, see transformation
DeleteWell behaved actresses those days especially Sandra. Very little or no controversy with good acting skills. She was so kinda private person. These were actresses
DeleteI remember Sandra Achums but can't remember Victoria Inyama. Sandra looks so much like Kaffy dance
ReplyDeleteShe doesn't look like Kaffy.
DeleteSandra..."fork me down"... Can't forget that movie.... How can I get that movie?
Vicky and her ajebutter parts then...
Good actresses.
Young shall grow indeed
Victoria featured in plenty movies with pat atta that time. Sandra had the sexy k legs with the original pouting lips.
Delete@justy she's not very tall,Sandra is average height with tall legs.
DeleteShe's a popular member of bvn. Very very very popular. π
Mao the film is Love Without Language
As a woman sef,I admire those legs back then. Sandra with the legs.
DeleteSandra is a bv on SDK? Wao!
DeleteShe a close friend of Stella so it’s expected of her to be a BV.
DeleteHer kids even visits stella’s.
I didn't know Victoria until Stella started blogging about her but I knew Sandra.
ReplyDeleteShe was a good actress, she and Rita Nzelu, one other fair lady who acted alongside Alex Osifo in that series "Beyond our dreams". Then Regina Askia, Eucharia Anunobi, Liz Benson, ,Clarion Chukwura and Ann Njemanze. Good old daysπ
You remember them wella..Obi Osotule,Obot Etuk,Kate Henshaw,Dolly Uwachukwu and the rest! Nolly wood don try sha
DeleteBarbara Sowkey..
DeleteBarbara Odoh..
Ndidi Obi..
Maureen Ihua..
Chief Mrs... (Merit in living in bondage)
The fair lady is Benita Nzeribe @ Courage
Delete@Courage it's Benita Nzeribe, the missing name in Beyond our dreams.
DeleteWhen Nollywood was Nollywood! Sometimes on fridays I go to youtube to find these old classics and watch, I even created a playlist. The last one I watched was True Confession starring Liz Benson.
DeleteYes Benita Nzeribe, thanks all. I like her too.
DeleteNot this clout chasing waka pass legend in their mind 2min "actors actresses" nowadays
DeleteMost of you are only being nostalgic. Go back to YouTube to watch some of these movies and you'd be amazed at the bad acting. Sandra Achums was a decent actress, however. Victoria on the other was a horrible actress, worse than Regina Askia and without her charm.
DeleteAll them Ndidi obi, Susan Patrick etc were bad please. Kudos to Ann Njemanze, Kate Henshaw, Liz Benson and few of them.
Anon 21:44 I don't think the acting was bad. In fact their acting was very good. But the technology was not as good as now. And they did great with what they have. Nothing like this distasteful new crop of actors
DeleteWow!good to hear that they are both doing fine
ReplyDeleteI wonder where Susan Patrick is.
DeleteI think Susan Patrick married one police man that year. Beautiful Susan with the funny eyebrow.
DeleteLiked Susan Patrick with Pat Atta. Where's Pat Atta, heard he was a beater of gf then.
DeleteBeautiful ladiesπ₯°π
ReplyDeleteGood to see sandra achums again, she was a very good actress.
ReplyDeleteSandra kept acting her real life( marriage wise ) on movies.Onye nsogbu π€£ She was HOT!
ReplyDeleteVikky was fine faced fine everything,Ini replaced her void.
When Nollywood had content, now nah cut and join with bling bling.
Nollywood had content in the past?? hmmm
DeleteWell, what nollywood had in the past is way more better than what we have today. Most of the actresses then can confidently act on stage as well and very good with the English language (nobody should say English is not their first language). Today's actresses speak English like crayfish sellers and mama putππππππ.
DeleteGo and watch it Yoruba movies in peace and leave my comments alone.
DeleteI'm not interested in yoruba movies as I don't speak or understand yoruba. Is my explanation OK for you now? Picking offence at nothing. Angry Nigerian.
Delete11:45 more better? And you are castigating others about the English language?! Issorait.
DeleteTo think they were indecently dressed then
ReplyDeletemy dear ehn.
Deleteππ€π€
DeleteYes, they didn't tie wrapper and gele on baba.
DeleteSandra Achums π₯°π I so much love her acting then
ReplyDeleteI miss her.
DeleteYeah, Very good actress.
DeleteMe too!
DeleteBeautiful ladies. So much love Sandra back then
ReplyDeleteNice Jumpsuit. this their Jumpsuit is still a fashionable piece till date.
ReplyDeleteThe young shall grow
ReplyDeleteThey look good
ReplyDeleteSandra Achums, such a good actress, back then when nollywood had small content.now all they show is bling bling, beautiful make up,clothes, fine location no good story line, too much recycling of stories and soft porn,u can’t even watch movies with a child around you anymore these days.before u know them don off clothππ
ReplyDeleteNo be lie. π€£π€£π€£
DeleteVery irritating the way small thing
DeleteFake accent
Zee world standing facing window
Exchanging saliva like no mans business
Ewww
This life Sha! One minute you are the rave of the moment , then minute other people have taken over. I give it to people that have been in the industry for long and are still relevant till date e.g Pete Edochie ,Ngozi Ezeonu. I watched glamour girl one on YouTube recently. She was such a beauty to behold. Imagine acting as prostitutes , and they were wearing skirt suit. Not the ones we have these days parading their nakedness everywhere .
ReplyDeleteThose one grew into their niches
DeleteMama
King roles
For the Yoruba movie industry ,the likes of Yinka Quadri, Oga Bello ,Jude Kosoko and Ogogo have been in the industry for long and are still relevant till date. I wonder what they did differently to remain relevant till date.
ReplyDeleteDiscipline, love of the job, contentment.
DeleteAlso a small world in Yoruba film industry
DeleteBig man
Baba part
Rich man , Alhaji no get rival
Quadri, Ogogo, Oga Bello over Kosoko's acting any day (exaggerated mouth movement and facial expression is not core acting abeg
When Nollywood was Nollywood, thay still look good.
ReplyDeleteWow! This is very impressive.
ReplyDeleteWow still looking beautiful. Good to know that they're doing well.
ReplyDeleteI remember crushing on Victoria then, she was so pretty.

ReplyDeleteBeautiful Queens aging gracefully❤
ReplyDeleteThey are still very beautiful
ReplyDeleteSandra that leaves in ilasa Maja near Ago Palace with her mom & family & the mom cooks mana put
ReplyDeleteWake up! It's 2021.
DeleteNothing bad in cooking mama put, last time I checked it's still a legitimate and a very LUCRATIVE business.
DeleteWake up! It's 2022.What's wrong with mamaput? But you eat mamaput.
DeleteBut the Bv didn’t say anything wrong nah. She was only trying to tell you how much she knew the actress at the time or would you have preferred she said she was dragging boyfriend with her sis or friend at time?
DeleteUna go just Dey angry for no reason
Lives, not leave.
DeleteIlasamaja is in Mushin Local Government Area and Ago Palace is in Amuwo Odofin Local Government Area, π₯Ί
DeleteI'm confused please, someone help me link this gist.
Mama put is a lucrative business, that's how Mama Cass and co started
Beautiful talented ladies, when Nollywood was Nollywood
ReplyDeletewhen nollywood was nollywood. sandra was a very good actress, I still remember her clearly in one movies she acted alongside Zack orji and Emeka Ike. Victoria too, Rita nzelu, Dolly Unachukwu. these people were seasoned actors.
ReplyDeletePls where is Zack Orji! How can these people disappear like that
DeleteZack Orji is still very much around, I mean he was in Nneka the pretty serpent just last year. I've seen him in other recent movies as well.
Delete@Mary nwa the movie then was Deadly Affair. Sandra was Jide Kosoko's daughter
ReplyDeletebeautiful ladies...their acting is not bad sha but Victoria talks anyhow, very lousy. i remember years ago she anchored a program in one church, she was just lousy talking all over the place. I think it was Anslem madubukos church in ogba.
