He also kicked against the report of the autopsy carried out at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital, Ikeja, and alleged that there was foul play.

So painful.... Justice is seldom found in Nigeria. The system is very bad and discouraging. I will advice they bury him and continue pursuing their case if they wish. It's not good to keep his corpse that long not knowing when and if justice will truly be served.
ReplyDeleteJustice delayed, justice denied.
Lagos state govt is a fraud.
DeleteKeeping his corpse will not give him justice. Let them go the native way by giving the boy a knife to kill all involved. Case closed
DeleteYou're right @ anon 13:19
DeleteThey are Ijaw, the father should carry Egbesu (a god in Ijaw land) on whoever have hand in his son death...
I am in support of this, if going diabolic will give them justice please let them do. This boy death is so painful. A baby cried to death God have mercy on his soul 😭😭😭😭😭😭
DeleteHmmmm, I don support going diabolic, cos it will cost the soul of the young boy to be sold to devil, they should allow him to rest and leave vengeance to God. May this not befall anyone of us in Jesus name
DeleteHe should allow the soul of the innocent boy rest in peace and leave vengeance for God. Allow the innocent boy rest abeg. He's been through enough already
DeleteThis is too much. This country will make things difficult for you. Please just bury this boy so he can rip while fighting for Justice. May God continue to comfort you all Amen 🙏
ReplyDeleteIf justice/Karma is to be visited on all who has a hand on Sylvester's death, it will not spare his parents, especially his mother. If you follow this story, you will find that the attitude of his parents after they were called that he "fell" were extremely careless. How many days again did it take the mother to pick that child from school? When he was picked up, how many days again before He was taken to the hospital?
DeleteAutopsy says SEPSIS...and the family Toxicologist and that of Dowen were there as well as the Govt's rep.
As a mother, I find this whole case disturbing because it could have been avoided. Maybe the woman has many children that will make her not rush to see her baby when called or take him straight to the hospital when she eventually did.
Thanks Anin15:46, both the school and the parents are culpable of negligence in this case because I can't fathom why as a parent, you tool a visibly sick child home for days after you had already delayed in picking him up from school. You didn't ask for a good hospital in the neighborhood (or google/check reviews), but took him home as well f your house is a hospital!
DeleteIt didn't occur to you as a parent that for the school admin to call you when they have a clinic, that means its obviously beyond the scope of the school.
In saner comes, both school admin and parents will be charged for death due to negligence.
I wonder when we women will realize that a man can father a child in his 80s but once menopause sets in, you can't vex and decide to have a child.
Adult children she monitored too. May we not be unfortunate in Jesus name.
The parents too are culpable. ur son was so ill and u kept him at home for so many days b4 rushing him to the hospital? He was so ill but was able to fly home from Lagos instead of being rushed to a hospital? And after so many days at home the toxic substance was just resting in his stomach? His mouth was so disfigured and he was kept at home? Hm I don’t even know who to believe in this whole saga. May Sylvester’s soul RIP. Amen
DeleteSee all these evil anons, God knows you all oh. Kontinu
DeleteChaiii 💔
ReplyDeletePlease go traditional way in finding justice, Nigeria is a country you hardly find justice.
ReplyDeleteThe judicial system is corrupt
ReplyDeleteRest in peace champ 🙏
In all.these buhari's wife Aisha is behaving as if nothing concerns her. Her heart is very deep I swear.
ReplyDeleteDoes her husband look like someone who can take advice from a mere woman? Abeg free Aisha she can’t do much. She’s not the president. Are her children useful if not for their father privilege. What do they do for a living upon all their school abroad. She has her own troubles you know.
DeleteAnon I get you but there is something called solidarity at least. Do you remember when she was having issues with those cabals and how she used to disturb our online space with her complains and rants? Where is same energy when something like sly's case happens? Let her talk first then we will say it's Buhari that doesn't take advice from her. But nothing. Okay has she even commersarated with the mother of slyvester?
DeleteAisha is as selfish as they come. When it comes to her kids she never stays quiet..She gives them hot hot at ASO Rock, was the Last Public Fight not because an Apartment was meant for Yusuf and dat family was staying there. She only reappeared recently bcos of her sons wedding.
DeleteDo we even have First Lady?
Na selfish figureheads full everywhere
DeleteOh no. Nigeria which way? this hurts though
ReplyDeleteI don't understand how they will conclude that a child who died in such degree of pain is considered natural, I am still trying to wrap my head around it. Nigeria judicial system is disgusting. I told my mum who is not internet savvy about the case and she was so emotional that she went on her kneels and prayed for vengeance, I cried Watching her do that, then we were watching tv and the news came up, there was a picture of sly on and I told thats the boy that was murdered and she said "nwa loru uwa ndo nna, nde nile aka ha di na owu gi agagi ahu ihe oma na uwa ha" and I said "use"
ReplyDeleteChaiiiii. So touching..
DeleteNnam jee nke oma. God of vengeance will fight ur battle and console your parents and loved once.
DeleteRIP dear.
12:51 I'm shedding tears reading your mom's reaction to the injustice meted out to deceased Sly.
DeleteThat Igbo word is "Ise!“...and the other is 'ndi'
I join you in saying," Ise eee!" to your mom's *ofor*.
12:51 Anonymous. Amen to your mother's prayers.
Delete14:11 Anonymous.
"nde nile" is an Anambra tongue, I guess praying mummy was right.
This is heartbreaking
ReplyDeleteHnmmm it's just so sad.
ReplyDeleteIf I talk now , some people will say Na nollywood film e dey happen. Stella, if those five boys caused the death of that boy, hmmm, I am a Yoruba woman , I don’t know what obtains in other tribes , in my side ehn, those 5 boys will die or run mad, there is absolutely nothing their parents will be able to do about it. Won ma ya Werey ni. In the spirit realm their hands will be smelling of innocent blood, there is not fortification their parents can do for them. Once we do the normal normal, hmmm, let me stop here. As it is, the only thing that can save those 5 boys is IF THEY ARE NOT THE ONES WHO INFLICTED THE INJURIES THAT CAUSED HIS DEATH. Then you see all those other ones that collected bribe to kill the case 😂 they will be used as collateral damage. Stella there is power oooo and the only thing that stops its work is God Almighty ONLY when you are innocent of whatever they accuse you of. Eni tI o ra gan a San nbe. It will be bloody, iji a ja (whirlwind will do it’s job), but it will all be done spiritually. Have you ever seen blood in the mouth of a witch? Let me stop here .
ReplyDeleteHmmmmmm.......
DeleteNawa.
DeleteMaami, mo fi iru yo yin oooo
DeleteIF they caused the death!!
DeleteThe man should know that this is Nigeria where anything can happen, he should let go
ReplyDeleteLet go bawo????
DeleteYeah he should let go, afterall, it us a chicken that died, mstchew.
DeleteIf he was your son will you let go????
DeleteLet go of what ? Pain ?? Do you know the pain they are going through? My brother died I slept with his corspe for 3days if he will wake up because he was all I had I still feel pain after 6years and you say let go? You are heartless
DeleteI know why I said what I said... @Anon 14:00 am single and don't have a child yet.... Yes I know it hurt like hell, u too have lost my parents at a tender age which I know their death was not ordinary.... Vengeance is of the LORD
DeleteYou did not answer the anon's question!!
DeleteEasier said than done!!
No he shouldn't!
DeleteWhy are people so unfortunate in that place called Nigeria. Is it necessary to be unfortunate?
I wish this boy was related to me by blood , except those five boys do not eat pepper, salt , palm oil or walk on the floor (ground) ! That’s all we need . God empowered some of us to be olugbeja. They will dance out into the market square by themselves and say what they did . Their families have a very very long battle ahead . Very very long battle.
ReplyDeleteHmmmmmm... Wish I had such powers...
DeleteIf he was related to you by blood,I
Delete'm sure you wouldn't have came akin him home but to the hospital .
May we not be unfortunate in JESU name. Odidi omo!!! So so painful
Let him go the traditional way by giving the boy knife and broom to clear all the culprits
ReplyDeleteHis parents will not be spared if they do so.
DeleteGod bless you Anon 15:56. Juju too has sense small nau!
DeleteHow could you watch him groan in pains for days before doing the needful.
I've been angry at his parents since I first read the story.
It will surprise you to know they will be the first to go f they go the juju way.
He who causes a thing to be done is the real doer of it abeg.
They can only cry fowl if they had acted promptly and made the right decision,.
May Satan not becloud our sense of reasoning in Jesus mighty name.
When it comes to children it's always better to kill a mosquito with a sledge hammer. I can't shout abeg I.
15:56 i hope you are okay?
DeleteFowl indeed.
DeleteAnon 13:29- Oil dey your head!
ReplyDeleteMay God console this family, cos it's not easy to lose a loved 1..
ReplyDeleteRIP son... May God of vengeance fight ur battle
Father lord show the people behind the death of this boy that you are God and no man should toy with your creation. I am pained.
ReplyDeleteThey should call that boy’s spirit and tell it to go after his killers ! The only thing is that they must not shed tears anymore once they take the traditional route. You must not cry again once you decide to fight your battle spiritually, your heart must be hardened, that’s the only way justice will be swift and seamless . It is better to throw away those killer boys inside dustbin so that lawma people can carry them and go and crush them somewhere because nothing good can ever come out of them again, their destiny has spoilt. Sylvester’s spirit will not allow them drink water and drop cup.
ReplyDeleteHow can I reach this boy's parents o. Pls and pls they should go traditional abeg. How can I reach them so I can take to Alaugbaga, all is needed is to call their names and the deity will visit each and every one of them and summon them to his shrine, refusal to come na death o.make I no reveal much Sha.
ReplyDeleteChai this is so sad.
ReplyDeleteContinue to rest in peace champ😭
The parents should not worry, the boys have killed o, they will also be killed , each one of them, wherever they go , the shadow will follow them and strike them when their parents least expect. It may take take years but mark this , this death will be avenged . Is God a joke to you people ?
ReplyDeleteAmen and Amen.
DeleteMe I don’t talk o when anyone offends me, nobody will be able to know which direction I strike from. I hide in the grass like a green snake then when you least expect, I strike and draw blood. This family should not talk much again. They have the names and pictures of the five boys , they know what to do . Everyday I Thank God that it is not only physical justice that is available to man, if not , e for rugged for people who have no connections. There are other surer ways to avenge this death . Government has no power in that area.
ReplyDelete😥😥😥.The law enforcement have spoken their own.Except the culprits are not guilty, then they will go scott free, but if they are guilty.......
ReplyDeletehmmmmmmmm
ReplyDeleteVengeance is of God. All of you talking about going the traditional way to avenge his death, do you know that the Devil does not give you a gift for free? If he assists you to take revenge, he will take something in return.
ReplyDeleteWhich devil? If you know anything about african traditions, then you'd know there is no devil in those beliefs. Spirits are called upon to carry out assignments, not the devil. The devil is for/from the white man's Christianity & Islam. And it is not 'free' because sacrifices are offered.
DeleteAlso, there are some people who do not need to invoke spirits. Just offend them & you're in trouble. Just a tear of pain & you don enter be that. Those ones are mostly elders in the spirit realm. They are highly protected & powerful even without their own knowledge.
Stop relying on nollywood to teach you things. Remember too that not everyone is a christian
Lastly, if haven't walked in certain shoes, maybe you shouldn't tell those who have to leave vengeance alone
Autopsy is purely science, there are no emotions about it. If Mr Oromoni disputes the autopsy, he is at liberty to invite pathologists from any where in the world to Carry out a fresh autopsy. Seven of the finest minds in the field of pathology observed the autopsy that was carried out in Lagos. Consultant pathologists from UBTH, UCH, LUTH, Central hospital Warri and Lagos State University teaching hospital. None of the seven pathologists had issues with the autopsy . The result of the toxicology carried out in Warri by the Oromoni family align with the result of toxicology carried out in Lagos. At the rate you are all going, none of you will learn anything from the unfortunate death of Sylvester.
ReplyDeleteWhat I have learned in the events of the last few weeks reenforces what I have always believed. Nigerians do not have the culture of going to hospital for regular check ups. Between when Mr Oromoni was informed about the health of his son and the death of his son, too much time was wasted. Time that the young Sylvester could have spent in the hospital for treatment. From the autopsy report, young Sylvester had knee injury that was not treated over a long period. The knee injury led to the damage of his organs. We must all learn to be there for our kids and take them to the hospital for regular checks
Thank you. Sad to say the parents were negligent. A matron of a young boy that died of sepsis in Ubth where she works. He broke his arm while playing football and hid the injury from his parents for fear of further scolding. His sister was covering up for him and helping him with his chores. By the time it was discovered it was already too late. Sepsis has sent in and unfortunately he died.
DeleteThank u. Nigerians have already concluded that those boys killed him. They did not. Maybe they bullied him but they didn’t kill him. The parents should have rushed him to hospital once he came home. Nigerians just like sensationalizing stories.
DeleteSo sad
DeleteWe must teach our children to speak UP!
Hiding what could have been sorted out?
Alexander, you have made a worthy contribution to the post and comments like yours deserve to be part of the conversation. Not everything should be about emotion sometimes we need to put our logical and rational minds to work.
DeleteThe sad thing is the parents had the financial means to procure good medical care. Unfortunately, as humans we are all prone to making mistakes and miscalculations, some costlier than others. I hope they eventually come to a place of peace. As someone who is childless I cannot presume to know the depth of their pain. I hope everyone learns something from their story and become a little wiser in their own parenting.
@alexander and @queen vashti , Ori eyin mejeji ti daru. My only response to the two of you (I know you are related to the murderers) is that you two will also partake in the coming destruction of the murderers . Ori yin o pe r
ReplyDeleteHow does someone who arrived at the school healthy suddenly develop sepsis? Why was he in so much pain to the extent he couldn't walk? How come his lips were burnt? Why can't the lagos state government consider the boy's account of what he said happened to him and how it happened? Why can't the government consider the eye witnesses' account of what happened to the little boy? Will someone automatically develop sepsis without something triggering it? I know even if this boy does not get justice, somehow his killers will never go unpunished except they confess.
DeletePlease also add the anons trying to put the blame on the parents. Wicked souls.
DeleteSo those boys beating him and kicking him doesn't count? Despite eye witness report from students that physically witnessed the whole thing and the deceased's confession?? He fell off his bunk bed but all these don't matter. His lips was peeling, I guess that was also caused by the knee injury.
ReplyDeleteSylvester, rest in peace. Whoever had a hand in your death or contributed to your death or manipulated any result concerning your death will not go unpunished.
