December is a time to make amends and tie loose ends!....Did you know that? I only always thought that December was a time to put on Bright lights and make merry.

December is a time to finish off what you started and hope your wishes come true!

As we begin to make amends and tie loose ends this December, May the Almighty God send us miracles and Testimonies that are pressed down, shaken together and running over in Jesus mighty name!

May this December be so beautiful for you that you wont stop talking about it in the next 12 months!

    God may not respond exactly when you want him to, but he is always on time. 'No good thing will he withhold from those who walk uprightly' (Psalm 84:11 NKJV). It's difficult to watch God blessing others while you're forced to wait. The Bible tells us, 'Joseph remained a slave until his own words came true, and the Lord had finished testing him' (Psalm 105:19 CEV) God's plan was for Joseph to live in a palace, yet for years he lived in a prison, charged with crimes he never committed. But it was there he met a butler who had the ear of Pharaoh, and through this connection, he was promoted to the number-two spot in Egypt.
    Understand this: when you walk with God, your opportunities for advancement are regulated by his plan, not someone else's actions. And preparation always precedes promotion. When Elijah called down fire from Heaven on Mount Carmel, everybody admired and applauded him. But then he spent years living through a famine, and the only friend he had was an impoverished widow. Together they had to trust God for every meal. That's when Elijah learned important lessons about humility, divine guidance and trusting God in times of need; things that don't necessarily make sense to your natural mind.
    When God is going to build something great, he takes time to lay a strong foundation. 'Jesus grew...in favour with God and man' (Luke 2:52 NIV). Allow yourself time to grow. Let him build a foundation under you that will sustain you and the blessings he has in mind for you in the years ahead.

    I want to thank all those emailed me, I'm sorry for not replying til yesterday, I only saw the mails yesterday cos I have been offline since I lost my husband, July.
    Pls if anyone have been there before, how did you deal with DEPRESSION. It has gotten to the stage of suicide thoughts. ( tried thrice) . never considering my kids. I have lost my mind. How do I cooperate with the doctor because of my kids. ( its a long story)I need advice.

      Hey Salma. I'm so sorry for what you are going through. Look at it this way: it's a passing phase of your life. This too shall pass. My suggestion - take your kids and change location for a while. Get away from the things that remind you of your husband. Then give yourself time. You'll heal but it's gradual. Don't rush it. Cry anytime you feel the need to but not always in front of your children. It will help you heal. Don't bottle the emotions.

      Take heart. You are a winner.

      How will ur death affect them all?
      Depression is a stage where u feel worthless, tired, unloved,pain, hatred, etc..
      If u can let all these go,u will find ur way and peace of mind..
      So sorry for ur loss..

      Think about this, would your late loving husband be happy with you wherever he is if you took your own life because of him and made your beautiful children orphans, leaving them alone and lonely in this cold world? It's hard but for the sake of the love you shared with your late hubby, stay alive and strong for his kids. Do you know what it would do to those kids when they grow up and realize that you made them an orphan by taking your own life? They'd be completely damaged for life and some might even repeat history by committing suicide again.

      Your hubby loved you and his kids silly, he fought to stay with you but his health crisis failed him, it wasn't his fault. Continue your both legacies by being strong and doing everything y'all planned to do together again.

She was with relatives for a whole year, two of us were in school, the you get ones were left in the care of my aunt who lived in the city where we all loved because of their schooling. After a year, we all moved back together as one family, mum came back from her folk's. God will be with you

    My mom told me last night what happened to a colleague of hers over the weekend.
    This woman,her son's girlfriend whom they started dating not too long ago came to visit him in their family compound on Friday evening. According to her,the girl came and greeted her that evening and then went to the son's quarters.
    Around 5am in the morning of Saturday,the son started screaming for help. The whole compound was woken up to his room to discover the girl dead.

    Wetin happen? The girl woke up to go and ease herself that morning. As she was walking into the room according to the story,she started panting for breath and in five minutes she was dead.
    That's how this innocent woman and her husband wey no even sabi anything had to wait in the morning to call the police. It was the police that came to deposit the body at the morgue. The son who never knew the girls house had to know it that Saturday.

    Presently, according to the woman,the girl's family have agreed on this Sunday for a meeting to be convened to ascertain whether the boy will marry their daughter's corpse before burying her.
    My mom said if you see the woman ehn,you will so pity her. May we not vomit wetin we no chop.
    This past week alone I have heard so many things that will make someone's ear to tingle

      Something light...what it means is that the boy will pay dowry for a dead girl,they will cook and do a proper trad like say the woman dey. Come do some kind sacrifice before they bury her.. it's done by wicked families

    Please house I have a question...

    My dad like every other day sometimes as from 11:30 pm, some days at past 12am in his sleep will be murmuring incoherent words for more than 15 minutes. It can be so loud cos my room is next to theirs so I hear it. You can't comprehend what he says but it sure as looks like him having conversations with someone somewhere, and according to my mom it follows with hand illustrations. We can't really get what he says cos it's a strange talk. Just lips moving with no English word. I think once we heard "leave now" something like that.

    My mom said if not that she knows my dad for almost 40 years now she would have concluded he's into some spiritual stuff somewhere cos of how he acts when asleep. But my Dad is a Christian and and we all know that. He's almost 70. Could this be old age or sleep talking or some spiritual battle or medical stuff.

    Happy new month people. May it be a fruitful and great end of year. I got a job just two months after arriving here and it’s taking all my time but I wouldn’t have it any other way. Oh I finally got my first snow last week and now it snows everyday 😀. I need to take pictures but I’m not in a hurry because they mentioned it would snow into next year so I’ve got time.

    I am going to miss Lagos this time of the year and all the office parties and events. What are your plans this December? Last December wasn’t fun because of Covid and I was working so much I almost died from exhaustion 😆.

    I already know how I’d be spending this one, working or at home but I must watch all the cheesy Christmas movies on Netflix. I know some of us are already writing our new year resolutions (new year, new me) but please let “staying alive” be number one on the list because the way Covid keeps giving us different editions the most important thing now is surviving it and hoping it ends soon. 😘
