Kombo had already promised his mother a car, his siblings 50k each and made arrangements for a new apartment immediately this deal is signed.
But the client wouldn't show up. When Kombo called the client was in hospital attending to his only son who had stepped on the sharp point of a rusted nail.
The son had stepped out of the car to buy something on the roadside when he stepped on the nail and incidentally it was the the nail that Kombo had refused to remove when he saw it dangerously positioned.
Kombo regretted not removing the nail because he thought it didn't concern him the moment he missed stepping on it.
He lost the deal and every benefit that would have come from it only because he didn't remove the nail from harming someone else.
We are all connected to one another. When one is hurt everyone else is hurt and when one is helped, everyone else is helped.
When you see anything that'll pose a danger to another person, please remove it and if you see anything that'll be helpful to others, please promote it.

There is this hubby's friend that lives abroad, he has been in the country for sometime now. Anytime he meets us(me and hubby), he will hug him and proceed to hug me too. I will feel uneasy and hug him sideways🤣

I used to feel awkward before and only do side hugs but here na so so hugs and both cheeks pecking they do as greeting and I have now gotten used to it 🤷🏾♀️

I think growing up had an issue with it, but as I got older those layers shredded. Except I feel you have ulterior motives. A friend of mine died few years ago and the last time we saw each other, we parted by hugging on the road. These days when I think of him, I am comforted by that.

ReplyDeleteHow do you handle a customer that patronises you but she's so rude and shouts at you when you go to supply something. I've tolerated all year, but the last is so rude. Her Co workers say that's how she is. I got tired of smiling the last time she called and was shouting for something I supplied and got their upset telling her to pay me up what she owed already. Like it was so annoying and I was having a shitty day too.

Plz do not accept such bad behaviour. To even shout at her co workers consistently is wrong. They can accept it but plz do not.
DeleteHi;Every customer cannot act or think same way;its various background with various attitude to people and life in general..
DeleteKeep your emotions aside;talk less with such customer,your duty is to make sales;which means profit for you to expand and grow your business..
If you prioritize correcting various customers over your profit,you would be drained emotionally and psychologically..
If you are on call with any and they go haywire;zone your self out(do other things) and just keep quiet,after the ranting simply say "Sorry about that";if they probe you further just say "we would do better next time"..
Keep emotions aside cos your emotions wont pay any bills;its not easy but when you go years in any line of business;you will get used to the act of ignoring what doesnt matter cos you deal with various people with different personalities daily..
Also you can get a sales rep who would take all calls if it bothers you that much..
