NAZIRITES INK

Amebo no be work sha.

My people, there's this woman that sells provision on a table opposite my house, she's always on about everybody's business. Mind you, me and her no dey rapport, we exchange pleasantries and I go my way.

Beginning of last month, I was coming from work, when she saw me and started to ask why my kid do not go to school anymore, hian!

see me, see blessing o!!! Shuo! For this Christmas season??? (Jam hands in a dramatic manner).

Ok o. I calmly smiled and didn't give her a reply. To my utmost surprise, last week again, while I was coming from work, still pushing myself under the scorching sun oo, this woman had to nerve to ask me the same question again, this time in front of other aproko neighbors all seated together under her shade.

I was super upset, I thought about giving her the most deserving insults which would obviously have degenerated to a big fight but I held back for only one reason; they all know me as a child of God first and Pastor's wife second, how e go be nowww?!

Thank God for church mind, I for give her the insult of her life.

The truth is, is not like this amebo woman cared, but because she's a gossip, hellbent on getting information on everyone and everything on the street, she want take style sample my matter, unfortunately, she was met with a big disappointment, Ehya...
Guess what I did? I walked away in my usual manner without dignifying her with a response, kwakwakwa, E pain am....

You know what they say, "Silence is a the best answer for a fool".

What she did not know is that my daughter is now being home schooled. When I got home and told my Oga, he insisted he would go and confront her but I said there was no need, as the thing wey she dey find, she no go see am. She will try try to obtain info about my family, she will never get any, I promise her. Ntoooor!!!

Hehehehehehe but you sef nah amebo on another level nau...
Abeg leave her ojare, amebo is sweet and the neighbourhood sweeter with gossips around..

On my street here, nah all the old mamas be the chief amebo, even my late mother in law i named her bbc cos nothing wey she no sabi.

INSIDE THE MIND OF A WOMAN GOING THROUGH MOTHERHOOD

Never say never, I am strong willed and determined, that just a nice way of saying I get “strong head”. There are a lot of things I said I would never do in marriage and with my kids as a single person. I was so sure I couldn’t be caught dead doing a lot of things but here I am doing the same thing.

Things like “I would never allow my kids throw tantrums in public, I am too disciplined for that" hmnn. They do, we are a work in progress in that area.

I will potty train all my kids by one and half. My first wasn’t fully potty trained till two years plus .

I will never give my kids screen time till they are three, na me dey clamor for personal tabs for kids by two.

I will never live my life just for my kids, I come first, now they are my first priority , every other thing comes next.

I will never tie wrapper in the house and wear hair net( now it’s satin bonnet). I have my moments oo, I have fine wrappers with nice print sef just for days like this, especially when I just had my babies, that first two weeks till I can move around my wrappers are my best friend.

I remember saying I would never use wrappers and co to back my baby as a slay queen wey I be for my head then, just baby carriers. I have five different kind of fabrics for backing, they are the most comfortable thing for me now. My babies are usually very big. So they are pretty comfortable.

I also said I will never use my mouth to suck catarrh from my child’s nose, I used to think it was one of the most revolting things ever, my sons had crazy nasal congestion that required constant use of nasal sprays, when I couldn’t get the nasal bulb sucker, I used my mouth a lot and I wasn’t bothered, I was more worried about them breathing properly.

So many things I said never too are my realities now, I could go on and on but let me stop here.

Hehehehehhehe that one of sucking catarrh i do am.... Yikessssssss!!!

  1. Divine Health Confessions!!

I am energized, strengthened, and full of life every day. I live the transcendent life in Christ, far above sickness, disease, infirmity, and death. I am not ordinary, because I am born of God. As the Father has life in Himself, even so has He given me to have His kind of life. Thus, I function always with supernatural strength and ability!

    1. Good afternoon beautiful people.

A rich pastor at oshodi Market that has many plazas there shared Christmas rice to the less fortunate members of the society.

Many people converged taking numbers. The blind people were attended to first while more than 70 people were there waiting.

I heard that it's an annual event. Even during Corona, he shared to 3 streets inside the market..

  10. In this my life, this is the most shocking story I've heard.
There's this lady close to my place that lost her second child about 3mths ago. A 4yr old boy. Since then, anytime I pass her shop I must greet her and coincidentally she braids hair. Na so I say make I turn her customer. I'm making my hair now🀦
That's how we started talking. She said she won't advise any pregnant woman to go for antenatal o... that those people will make mistakes during lab tests and give rubbish results. I was quiet at this point.
Oya o... she said she registered during her first pregnancy and that's how the doctors told her she is HIV positive. And she should wait behind and start learning about how to prevent the mother to child transmission. I'm like okay...
That's how this woman said she walked away from the hospital and went home. And she and her husband went to the church to pray and they know the did a mistake during the test. That that was the last time she stepped her feet in a hospital for antenatal. She started giving birth in maternal homes since then. 3 kids!!!!🀦🀦

I was like "did you go to another hospital for confirmation?" and she be like "go where? who dem wan carry HIV for e head?"... I feel so terrible looking at this two kids right now!! Me that's even making my hair right now🀦

  21. Nazarite ink, you see all of those things u mentioned up there ehn, I am now guilty of things I said I will never do.

I dey suck catarrh steady from my pikin nose even though I have that suction thingie (I’m sure that was how I got covid)

Even for fancy stores, once my baby starts to cry in her stroller, I will just remove the wrapper that I always take out with me. It’s permanently in that shopping thing for strollers (dunno what it’s called) and I will just back my baby jeje.

They know me at her crΓ¨che, once we are not going home with Uber, I don’t bother with stroller. Even request for help now that it’s winter jacket to winter jacket, make I no go knack my pikin head for ground. Na the teacher dey always help me place her on my back and hold her there until I tie the wrapper. Oyibo don master the technique.

I don’t even care how expensive my phone is anymore, when I am busy and she won’t let me be, will just hand over the phone to her, even if na chop or bang on the floor she wan take am so, make she do allow me cook abeg.

I’m sure there are still a lots of don’ts that I will still turn to dos in the future.

I keep praying my husband will be the strict one so I don’t spoil this girl totally. Someone needs to balance out my spoiling

  23. The donkey told the tiger, "The grass is blue."

The tiger replied, "No, the grass is green ."

The discussion became heated, and the two decided to submit the issue to arbitration, so they approached the lion.

As they approached the lion on his throne, the donkey started screaming: ′′Your Highness, isn't it true that the grass is blue?"

The lion replied: "If you believe it is true, the grass is blue."

The donkey rushed forward and continued: ′′The tiger disagrees with me, contradicts me and annoys me. Please punish him."

The king then declared: ′′The tiger will be punished with 3 days of silence."

The donkey jumped with joy and went on his way, content and repeating ′′The grass is blue, the grass is blue..."

The tiger asked the lion, "Your Majesty, why have you punished me, after all, the grass is green?"

The lion replied, ′′You've known and seen the grass is green."

The tiger asked, ′′So why do you punish me?"

The lion replied, "That has nothing to do with the question of whether the grass is blue or green. The punishment is because it is degrading for a brave, intelligent creature like you to waste time arguing with an ass, and on top of that, you came and bothered me with that question just to validate something you already knew was true!"

The biggest waste of time is arguing with the fool and fanatic who doesn't care about truth or reality, but only the victory of his beliefs and illusions. Never waste time on discussions that make no sense. There are people who, for all the evidence presented to them, do not have the ability to understand. Others who are blinded by ego, hatred and resentment, and the only thing that they want is to be right even if they aren’t.

When IGNORANCE SCREAMS, intelligence moves on.
