Nwosu who is a former Chief of Staff to Okorocha was arrested on Sunday at the St Peter’s Anglican Church, Eziama Obieri in the Nkwerre Local Government Area of the state during the church service after his mother’s burial.
He has, however, been released unconditionally by the state Police Command.
Speaking with journalists in Owerri, the state capital, Okorocha said: “I am going to wait for 24 hours to know what Nwosu has done. We want to know his offences.
24 hours is enough for the police to do that which is legal. They should let the world know about his offences and failure to do that I will take legal action to demand his release.”

ReplyDeleteThe time Imo people allowed a man that behaves like a tout to be their governor, thats when I knew it will bizzle for them. With their high level of literacy and exposure. Apart from Ondo & Ekiti State with highest number of Professors in Nigeria, Imo State is next. SMH.
DeleteOk we are waiting
ReplyDeleteHope Uzodinma is heading towards self destruct. Only time will tell. One funny thing with politicians is that, they hardly learn from what's happening to their predecessors after leaving office.
ReplyDeleteI watched the confession of the young man they're trying to use to indict Uche Nwosu. Mere looking at his speech, you will know it's arangee thing. The whole talk was a rehearsal being sponsored by the very people who have sworn to destroy the once peaceful Imo state.
Posterity will never be fair with them all.
Hope Uzodimma has been missing it since. Who is controlling Uzodimma?
DeleteMorning Teejay... This is all politics and we all understand the game they are playing. I beg to disagree with your comments yesterday on this same Nwosu matter. Where you purported that Soldiers sent to cause that mayhem. N disrupt the church service were Northerners or Muslims per say. I dont think that assumption was fair cos the Nigerian army constitutes both religion. An order from above must be obeyed to the last be it right or wrong. So those soldiers were simply obeying Oga's order which they have no choice not to . So bringing ethnicity into that wasn't right at all in my own opinion. I am not in support of the manner the arrest was made too. But this is Nigeria. All hail My Country!!!
DeletePoint of correction Teacher Nk, I never stated solders, so quote me right and don't mislead the audience of things I didn't say.
DeleteSecondly, I would have loved to ignore the lies you painted my comment but for the avoidance of doubt and the guilible persons here who will hurriedly buy into your lies, I will post an extract from that comment of mine yesterday you're referring to, so you can point to me where I wrote that the people sent were Muslims.
Now read it;
"Can this arrant nonsense be tried in a mosque? Can a politician from the northern extraction be treated this way inside the mosque?
Christianity has always been rubbished by most northern security operatives simply cos they are Muslims."
My last paragraph is in generality what has been ongoing in Nigeria by the acts we have seen so far.
So where did you get your assertion from?
Teekay, so now you want to include religious bias to your diatribe? Kontinu.
Delete@ Teejay, you open your mouth to spill nonsense, what do you you mean by "Christianity has always been rubbished by most northern security operatives simply cos they are Muslims" if interpreted, you are actually stating that it was the Muslims soldiers that attacked them in the church, or how best can you interpret the gibberish you wrote there. Have you ever stopped to think that those sent were Christians too, or did they say the Islamic greetings or introduced themselves as such when they entered the church. This clearly shows your sense of reasoning is daunted and you need help.
DeleteYour hate for Islam is second to none, and I am sorry that you will have to live with that for the rest of your life because Islam has come to stay and not even millions of your kind can erase that fact.
Thank you so much @ Teacher NK, your kind is really rare, saying the truth not minding that he would come for you because you didn't side with him.
So Teejay, you even use your hand report yourself, okwaya? How uou dey take survive with this bile inside you again the moslems? Nna jiri ya nwayoo. You didn't even mind that your people were suffering during the Monday sit at home. You don dey turn terrorist oo. Lekwa onwe gi anya ofuma. Na so e dey start.
DeleteWhat concerns muslims with the arrest of Uche Nwosu? There's no peace for the wicked aka Rochas Okorocha & family
DeleteMake una no crucify him abeg...
DeleteE don do? Wetin
Christains sha.when eesah says all his rubbish, do you see his fellow muslims like elegant and co say pim?but see how fellow christains want to crucify teejay ?and to be honest what he said is very true. Teacher nk, can soilders/police whatever the religion affiliation enter mosque and display such disrespect?let's be telling our self the truth.
DeleteVarey B, you are no different from Teejay. Let me ask you, does Christ teach us to cover the truth simply because it is fellow Christians involved?
DeleteWhen they arrest sons of poor ppl in ur state for crimes they know nothing abt you ppl watch them rot in jail bcos they dont have connection.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the system you did nothing to change Sir.
Nawah o. Unfortunate things happen to the poor everywhere in the world. So when you have the means to do something for your kin, you fold your arms because some people are not so fortunate? Is that not why you wake up every morning to put in your best so to be as far as possible from poverty?

Deletena there matter,yeye people..
ReplyDeleteLooking at this man's picture. I wonder why politicians with the whole money in their possession look very old and frail while in office. See how this young man is looking older than his father in-law. See Prof Osibanjo even Jonathan was looking older while in office compared to now. I know someone in politics. Less than 40yrs old but looking like a 60yrs old man within 6yrs in office because this is his second term. So money does not make one look fresh๐
ReplyDelete"Uneasy lies on the head that wears the crown". Its not nearly as easy or as rosey as it looks.
DeleteIt's not easy sis, with all that power, people looking up to to you, expecting the best and criticizing the hell out of you if you make any decision good or bad
DeleteThere is no peace for the wicked....
DeleteWhy Dem go fresh on top our sweat...
They think a lot and sleep less..
DeleteIn as much as I don't like ORO, Hope Uzodimma should explain this.
ReplyDeleteHaba... Enough!
I still don't understand why Uche Nwosu was stripped of his clothes and pictures taken of him in his boxers and singlet. Nigeria Police is very unprofessional, we see videos of Police in overseas making arrests even Drug barons and other criminals are not humiliated like the way they did this man. I wish Police officers should carry out arrest in a more professional manner irrespective of who that man/woman may be in the society, for goodness sake this is undignified .
ReplyDeleteAgain why go to the House of God to make an arrest? No matter the crime he may have committed, places of worship are sacred and most be respected.
