  1. Omoo, there is hunger in the land. He could have looted the shop empty if he really wanted to steal but he picked only items enough for one off feeding, This one is hunger-induced theft.

  2. Thank God say no be 30 years imprisonment unlike our politicians who get a pat on the back and do plea bargaining, going away with most of their loot which runs into billions

From what he stole, you can see that he's hungry. But with the packs of cigarettes and drinks in seeing on the list, it's like the guy is prone to vices.

  11. I truly feel for the man what he did is an offence under the law,and the punishment should serve as a deterrent to any other person in that vicinity.
Thank God he has an option of one month community service.

How I wish our rich politicians can also feel the wrath of the law in the same vein, but in my country the politicians that steals millions of naira are above the law. While the law act with quick speed and force when it comes to a poor man

When your name is ThankGod and you have to resort to stealing for survival we can be assured that we are living in perilous times. May your story change to one of victory and triumph, ThankGod. May your name meet you in glory.
