MEMO FROM FFRIDAY SPONTANEOUS POST TO THURSDAY CHRONICLE POSTER

Chronicle poster of yesterday let me tell you my story. From when I got pregnant for my daughter,the father said I should abort the child but young and naive me I couldn't go through with it. It's been many years now and he has never seen her. He doesn't want to be in her life. Many times I have been so broke that I will call him to ask for help but once he knows it's me he will hang up. He is now married and does not want a taint to his name.

 I named the child after him as my father did not allow me her after me or himself claiming that if I do that in their family the girl will die. It's only my parents that know that he is alive even though they have never seen him. I told my daughter and anyone that cares to ask that her father is dead and that he died before she was even born. After holding up this lies for many years, she disturbed me so much that she wants to know her father's people. The pressure was much and I finally called her father one day to speak with her without telling him that he was dead to her. The idiot told her that he was her father and that he will send her 5k. 5k after many years?

My asked him why he hated her and refused to take care of her. He was talking gibberish. After that day, she was so happy that she did have a father and even wrote it in her diary. After that day, each time she calls him he doesn't pick till date. After some weeks I saw my daughter crying and writing in her diary how no one wants her. How she hated her father. How she is going to become something so that her father and her stepsisters will look for her and she will also reject them. I felt so bad that day.

So poster, your mom did you a world of good so you do not grow up that way. I have never told her anything about him as I do want her to form her own opinion of him when she grows up. Now she tells anyone that asks her that her father is dead.

The lesson from this is that young girl, use or condom if you cannot abstain if you do not want issues. Stella please do not post if I am not anonymous

THE LIE THAT MUST TURN TO A TESTIMONY


My parents asked to see everybody (children) this Dec and no excuse will be tolerated.


Note that my parents are the selfish type. They just want and want not minding if you and yours are fine.


After I and hubby did the estimate of my travelling to and fro & other expenses, it was more than his salary. (I have being searching for job after Coro took the last one). There and then I cancelled my travelling to see them & told hubby we would send something as Xmas gift instead which he rejected and stated he doesn't want any trouble but will borrow for our upkeep till January ends when salary would be paid and we pay back.


I refused and said I can't start the year with debt.


Me, be the fearful type thought of what to do and an evil idea came into my head and I announced to my parents that I was 7weeks pregnant and the doctor warned me from travelling this early stage and to avoid any strenuous work.


Come and see happiness (we are TTC) and they excused me from coming and stopped bugging me about my coming and things to buy for them.


Meanwhile, I kept hubby from all of these because I told my people he doesn't want people to know about the 'good news' yet that I told them in confident.


It was yesterday, after dinner I told hubby about the tight corner I threw myself and he was so mad/yelled at me for the very first time since we've being married and said this is a very expensive joke and a very bad idea. I begged him to play along because I will announce to them that I had a miscarriage after Xmas celebration. He was speechless and asked what happened to me?


He has placed us on a week fasting and prayer for forgiveness and God should turn that lie into testimony.


Though I feel so bad about the lie I told, but I'm happy I have had peace for weeks now.


Nigerian parents, please stop putting your children in any kind of pressure, it never ends well.

INSIDE THE MIND OF A WOMAN GOING THROUGH MOTHERHOOD




There is this common saying that Pastor’s children are usually, if not always wayward. In my opinion,it seems to be a common occurrence not because the children are bad but usually a lot of men of God in their over zealousness abandon the home and the training of the kids to just the mother while they pursue ministry.

 Also a lot of children get to see the real man behind all the paparazzi, because the gift of God is given without repentance, it is up to the man of God to work on himself and the fruit of the spirit.

For example my Dad would do anything for the gospel and humanitarian services at the expense of his home. I saw God use him mightily for people, he was loved and respected by the public, yet he was a prideful monster at home, he was verbally, emotionally and physically abusive. Yet outside he was the calm, gentle, loving man of God. It took a personal walk with God to understand how God could still use someone like him.

It was then I understood the scripture that a lot of people will say on the last day, I did miracles in your name yet Christ will say he doesn’t know them because despite the fact they were genuinely called and gifted by God they had allowed sin to rule in their lives.

Men of God, no matter how "big" they are mere men with weaknesses and all just mightily used by a graceful and merciful God and they should not be worshipped.

I don’t see Christianity as a religion but a lifestyle. 

A lifestyle of living Christ like. I am really determined to lead my children on this part as early as possible. I want to be a good example to them, I want them to see me as a genuine extension of Christ‘s love. I want them to see me serve God whole heartedly and truthfully be sold out for the kingdom. I don’t want to repeat my father’s mistakes.
