I am still new in this faith, I attended RCCG for 12 years since I moved to the UK, joined this RCCG 3 years ago so sometimes I still refer to it as my church.

  7. I visited my uncle in Abuja in 2015 after a great breakup from my then fianc... story for another day. His son and his friend invited me to his church. He was performing all sorts of miracles and I knew something was off. There was one blind man that sat in front of me, he kept shouting, man of God, have mercy on me but, the pastor no send am and kept going up and down with his prepared candidates. Service that was to close at 7pm didn't close as at about 11pm when I left cos I wanted to see to the end of the man will be healed....hmmm, the drama too long. I can't tell it all

    1. Are you for real? You compare light and darkness???

  12. I'm a church worker. In protocol department, you see this? I will never do. If I stand and greet you no answer. I noticed some big men in church, they will walk into church, and throw their face the other side as if no one is standing there, even to keep face for greeting. I trust myself, na to also throw face. Let us all be mad. Later they will be looking for who to be sending messages up and down. I will just throw my face they other side. I don't allow any one to be rude to me, I'm a professional, so working for God shouldn't make any one treat me like thrash, cos you have money.

The only thing that takes me to church is not any pastor preaching, cos ehhhh this one is all about money but to worship and praise God. It is always my best moments and when the choir sings. Sorry for ranting. Church matter can tire person

    1. If you don't feel fulfilled in the Church why not pray about it let the Holy Spirit direct you on where to worship. Church should be a family.

    2. There is a whole lot of problems in the church today. Human worship. Let me be doing my church from my house abeg.

    3. Those are not churches anyway.
Many of the so-called pastors are those Jude 1v12 and Philippians 3 v19 refer to as "CLOUDS WITHOUT RAIN...WHOSE god IS THEIR BELLY".

People, read your Bible and follow Christ, not any man. Pastors and church leaders should be your servants not the other way round.

    1. This is even better, there's a church in Abuja that the pastor beats his workers, really flogging with came or belt like babies.... Full grown adults o that have wives and children at home.
They will go on their knees and be saying thank you Papa as he is flogging them.... Wonders shall never end.

  20. Before you condemn this, don't some cultures support people bowing or prostrating in greetings to their elders? Do we castigate them as well? The people they postrate at, aren't they humans as well.

Biblically, didn't people spread their clothes on the floor and I even believe some prostrate, singing hosanna to Christ during his triumphant entry in to Jerusalem.

It's not a sin if they choose to greet their pastors in such a way.

    1. Tee... Look at their faces !!! Does it look like what they are doing with joy or love ? Culture is different you give respect to whom it is due to, especially person older than you. But this one looks more like out of fear. It looks awkward pls.

    2. My dear Teejay the way you reason eee. I just tire for you. This type of kneeling down is called eye service ooo. Think sometimes before you comment. Your type will know the answer to a particular question during exam but will end up writing OP and fail. Sometimes your comment leaves me WOKE😳
