The Adventures Of Oko Ashawo The Uber Driver - 104

Lately, I have been seriously thinking about getting married and the more I try, the more difficult it gets. The line of my job as an Uber driver exposes me mostly to ladies of easy virtue but I have also met very decent ones too.

I met Bisi about 2 years ago when she booked a ride and we have kept in touch ever since. She is a very beautiful lady in her early thirties with a banging body and a great sense of humour. We have gone out on dates, had lunch together and seen movies too.

She has also visited me a few times in my apartment and somehow, I just find myself resisting her s*xually. The most we have done is a little kissing, cuddling and touching here and there. There has been something about her that I could not place and I was ready to find out by all means, so I came up with a plan which is to look for clues by all means whenever we are together. 

Her Facebook page didn’t reveal anything and the few friends she had there was a red flag for me.

Though I have always advised against snooping, I was willing to break that rule this time because I had a very strange feeling that something was not right about Bisi. I was already falling in love and I needed to be sure I was making the right moves. The problem was getting access to her pass worded phone...

I wasn’t feeling too 2 weeks ago and she came to visit me at home. I took some medication that made me drowsy so I slept off in the sitting room while she cooked for me. 

I suddenly woke up when I heard her discussing on the phone with someone but I kept pretending like I was still sleeping. She was telling her friend in Yoruba language that her papers are almost sorted out and she will join her husband abroad soon.

What! 

I have been with a married woman all the while without knowing? I was heartbroken immediately and a lot crossed my mind. On the other hand, I was relieved that I had not yet gone all the way with her even though the opportunity had presented itself multiple times. Though I am not a saint, I can never sleep with a married woman knowingly. 

This is someone that asked me to borrow her 200k, which I had planned to give her at the end of the month after receiving money from my cooperative. Indeed, I have dodged a bullet.

I didn’t confront her with my findings but I have decided to ghost her. Hopefully, I will find the right “somebody’s daughter” one day soon. I am still hurting …
