ReplyDeleteAs for weight loss it comes down to one thing and one thing only: calorie deficit.
Every human being has a number of calories they need to maintain their size: depending on their height, current weight, gender, level of physical activity and age. Usually ranging between 1200-2000 calories per person.
You can buy all the slimming tea and weight loss products in the world, but if you need 2,000 calories to maintain your weight and you consume 2500 calories daily without burning any, you will not shed any weight. You will probably even gain. On the other hand, if your body needs 2,000 calories to maintain weight and you consume 1,500, even without working out or burning, you will definitely lose weight because there's a calorie deficit at play. That's why dieticians say weight loss is 70% your diet and 30% your physical activity.
The bottom line is STOP DEPENDING ON SLIMMING PRODUCTS. Instead, figure out the amount of calories your body needs and eat what is right for your body. You cannot outrun a bad diet!
If you must spend money on slimming tea, however, do so: it's your money, after all. But at the end of the day, it is your diet as a whole that will make a difference: not the supplements or tea or cream or waist trainer.
Thank you so much for this explanation! I always tell people this esp the ones that are fat but claim they don't eat much. I am a size 10 but lately I had a calorie deficit. I seriously reduced taking solids(eba, semo..) and took more veggies. Plus I so much enjoy brisk walking, it's like it makes my blood flow and I come alive. In just 2weeks, I lost 5kg and no, I did not fall sick. I will have to increase my calories and reduce my brisk walkink before I disappear
