This is not true. Under the Buhari administration, a very good example is the clampdown on Twitter - the voice of the people.

ReplyDeleteThe Nigerian government has always been liberal , our media space is exceedingly free , though there are minor interferences. The ban on twitter shouldn't be used as an excuse, there is hardly any Nigerian who is on twitter today that is not on other social media . Moreover, Nigerians are still using Twitter everyday. The minister obviously exaggerated , he is use to excessive exaggeration and lies , not just white lies. People his age shouldn't be in charge of information management in our nation.
