ReplyDeleteAnother one bites the dust! I genuinely feel for Sanwolu and LSG, Please be proactive and carry out audits and enforce compliance. There should be massive sacking by now...
DeletePlease people lets learn to do the right thing..Involve all building and constructions professionals e.g Architects, Quality surveyors, Civil/Structural engineers to put up structures...Have respect for human lives for once for God sake...
Someone people will just call Baba Afusa the bricklayer on the street and give him the project to carry out the whole construction..Haba Maigida!!
They never learn. So sad
ReplyDeleteLagos state is not proactive even with buildings collapsing in it
DeleteGovernor , Noway
Dep Gov, MIA
Why blame the governor for the inefficiencies of individuals. Have you seen government houses collapsing.
DeleteNot againnnnn!!!!I hope no life was lost..
ReplyDeleteThis people might be going for inferior materials cos of price hike....abeg...o if Una no get money no build house..o
.
That's a point
DeleteWe don’t have inferior building materials as such in Nigeria. The problem we have is the application of these materials. The construction workers try to manage the iron, cement, Chipping etc, thereby reducing the number of pillars carrying the building and the strength of the cement holding the building together.
DeleteAnonymous 8:25, you said it all.
DeleteExactly what happened,,they are managing materials especially IRON AND CEMENT..
Chai this country,we never learn,it is well,I pray no souls were lost o
ReplyDeleteGod abeg o,this week alone, about 3 different buildings collapsed in different areas of the state. The regulatory agencies need to step up and do the needful,it's one too many.

Greed and wickedness. May all those who engage in this never prosper. Anen
DeleteNot again!!
ReplyDeleteWhat is really going on?
Lagos is below sea level so ppl cannot just build anyhow and anywhere. That is why even in the prestigious areas flooding is common. Not everywhere is fitting for building and please stop letting ppl sell you their water land in dry time.
ReplyDeleteNawa ooo some measures has to be put in place to avoid things like this,if not it will keep happening.
