Robbery gone wrong


On Friday night, I was around Sango area(Ibadan) at a POS shop around 9pm where I wanted to withdraw some money in other to buy food items from a particular market very early the next day so as to get them at cheaper rate.

 I gave the lady my ATM card, she did as directed and she was about stretching out the money to me so she could attend to other customers when some guys came with a gun. We were so scared and sincerely I never knew when I pee-d on my body.


They collected everything we had , including our phones( i am sending this with my wife's phone) including the girl's POS machine and all the cash on her, but what can I do? i was calm because you can't predict if that ENGLISH has a bullet in it or not.

 They were 3 in number and after taking all they needed, they went away on a bike. I left the POS centre and had to trek home. 

On my way home, I got to GBAREMU(for those who knows sango road that leads to eleyele), on getting to that GBAREMU, there is this aboki who sells Suya and another woman that sells food, these same guys were robbing them and was planning to take all the aboki suya away and also take away his money( I saw them because the same guy who was holding the gun was the same guy who robbed us).

 The aboki guy was so full of confidence and was dragging with them, they shot him and the bullet didn't go in and in order to scare people away, they shot the other aboki selling bread and tea and he died instantly but the other one shouted and a lot of abokis came outside and fought those guys, one of the guys escaped with the bag they put all they stole on the bike but the two other guys were caught and they burnt them alive.

 I couldn't stay to watch how their skin were roasting like fried meat.


On our way to church on Saturday morning(24th of oct 2021), I showed my wife the burnt bodies of those idiots. you need to see how bad it was but the issue is, the gun was collected by those abokis and i am sure it will be another weapon for those abokis that stay in that same GBAREMU market.


I think this will be the last time I will go and withdraw at night because God really loves me, if not i would be a dead man because I can be stubborn when it comes to things like this, but was so calm and I thought about it twice. it's an easy thing for me to fight them but what if I have doubted the gun not having bullet in it.


Please house, do not argue with anyone holding a riffle, no matter how good you are in Taekwando, boxing or whatever. Always remember that, whatever happens dont try what happened in Jetli and Jackie Chan's movies at home except you have AYETA.

INSIDE THE MIND OF A WOMAN GOING THROUGH MOTHERHOOD 

Mom guilt is something I am constantly plagued with....

 I beat myself up so much when anything happens to my children. If they fall, I get worried and start to think of ways it could have been avoided if I had watched them better.

When my first was around nine and half months, he fell and broke part of his front teeth. I have still not gotten over it. I am seriously looking forward to when his baby teeth will come off.

I see the two broken teeth everyday and its a reminder of my mistake. I feel worse than ever because three days ago when my second baby was also nine and half months old  while playing he hit his mouth slightly on his rocker, I noticed his mouth was bleeding, I cleaned it up, it was a very small bang, he didn’t even cry that much. Only for me to check his teeth the next day and he has badly chipped his tooth, new tooth wey just commot few weeks ago.

I am close to tears and I wish I didn’t place him in his rocker or maybe I should have kept him longer on my back but my back was aching because he is a big baby, that is why I dropped him for  few minutes.

 Those few minutes have cost me. 

Two kids, three broken teeth, I really feel bad.

HA!!!!!....... I hope it does not happen again with the next baby.

18. There are days it will seem everything is going wrong and downhill


19. You need to , walk away from some people to maintain peace of mind
