    1. Why add "this dispensation?" To free your conscience of the guilt of dodging a responsibility that your
      mom graciously took without complaining?

  6. Raising children presently is not easy ,one must do his/her best and leave the rest to GOD. I understand her rant about being assistant parent, sometimes I wonder my crime, I missed childhood cos I was taught on time how to be a perfect elder sis, so my younger ones can learn, the financial load nko,but I cried secretly the day my sis told me that if there's anything like re incarnation that she will look for the womb that birth me and make sure she comes as a sibling again, that I worked hard to make sure all of them stand on their feet so no one depends on me even as we lost our mom. I am grateful to GOD . I focus on my family now but I still want to play like a child

  8. She seems like a nice person with a good heart to me. I remember when she was dragged for not attending Uche's baby shower, her replies were so calm .

Raising kids is not a child's play even with nannies et al, I wonder how our mothers were able to raise us and still work/do business. May God bless them and keep them alive long enough to reap the fruits of their labour and enjoy life to the fullest, especially my mum.

  11. Left an abusive marriage with a 6 months old; as a single mum I can say it ain't the easiest life. However, not being in a relationship or catering to a fellow adult's need has freed me up to focus on the task of mothering. I'm doing well if I may say so.
Also, it's apparent to me that this is a road I would not voluntarily travel down again.

  13. Some people do not want to have kids. It is their decision and no one should trouble them about it.

But please, if such is your decision, lay this fact on the table early enough before you allow someone's child fall in love with you.
