I love my man so much and we are talking marriage, but something bothers me, he likes to video call me because it's long-distance, which requires I look sexy most times and I do it although sometimes I go, "I want him to see me different so I cloth up" now it's demands for videos, before it was pictures which I oblige not completely nude cos I have partial clothing on. I read from a BV yesterday in that testimonies and miracle post about not wanting to give the whole info so people don't get to know some certain things,so she rather put an offering.
ReplyDeleteThe truth,I see so many who are not discreet in church while sharing their testimonies,so many things they end up saying weren't even supposed to be said in the first place.so many don't even know how to arrange their testimonies, hence they end up disclosing confidential issues about themselves and family.
Now, testimonies are actually shared with wisdom,you don't just open your mouth and pour out the whole thing except for non confidential cases, which you can say it all out but for those confidential ones or let me put it 'sensitive cases' you apply wisdom or simply thank God for what He has done for you,put an offering and return back to your seat, nobody will kill you for it. Glory has been returned back to God and that's all that matters.
I know of a woman that used to do so,you will actually come to know the secrets of her children through her testimonies, and I kept feeling bad for the children, wondering how they would feel,if they were there and I kept putting myself in their position,if I was the one shame will not let me step feet in the church knowing they know all about me. I had to caution the woman and thank God she understood.
You don't go about disclosing sensitive info about yourself or family in the name of testimonies.
So,we apply wisdom in everything we do, including sharing our testimonies.

ReplyDeleteThe story of Jezebel is about power, control and manipulation.
Jezebel was the queen of king Ahab who was a weak docile man, the complete opposite of what his wife was..mean, spiteful and wicked. She used her position of power and authority to control and manipulate people in the kingdom to get what she wanted. For instance, she had a man killed so that the king could have the man's property ( 1 Kings 21). She also killed some of God's prophets and threatened to kill prophet Elijah and he actually ran for his life( 1 Kings 18 : 19).
She took it up a notch by misleading God's servants into committing sexual immorality and eating food sacrificed to idols (Revelation 2:20). She's the reason some people see makeup as demonic because she adorned herself in order to 'seduce' Jehu (2 Kings 9).
Personally, I think she had an ornate ritual makeup specially done for royalties and priestesses just to show Jehu her rank as a higher state of being. I mean, a lot of women adorned themselves when meeting a king even after Jezebel. E.g Esther, Queen of Sheba but I digress..
Was Jezebel given a chance to redeem herself? Absolutely but she didn't take it.
The Lord sent his prophet Jehu to confront her of her sins and she never repented. She was defiant even in death, hurling insults till the last moments of her life. Cursed and eaten by dogs such that there was nothing left to bury.
A Jezebel spirit is a spirit of abuse of power and authority. It isn't half as much about seduction as it is about power drunk-ism so it can manifest in anyone, man or woman. This evil spirit operates through a person's mindset to steal, manipulate and/or control something or someone that belongs to others and if all fails, kill is the final choice.
