IJEOMAS GIST CORNER

Hmmmmmmmmmm, so i was on my own jejely na him tori grow legs Waka come meet me. One of my neighbors that her husband has been cheating on her told me she did something different to keep her husband and to aid her prayers.

She's aware of his cheating and he too doesn't deny it. Oga no want to dey chop okra soup every time according to him. She complained that he doesn't touch her, she told me he even vowed not to touch her again, she's an old cargo

This lady told me she believes it's not ordinary and decided to do something different last week. She said she spat into his cream (yuck), secondly as she was on her period then, she peed into a small container and poured the urine mixed with her blood into the same cream, heeeei

She said she made pronouncements as she shook the cream to make whatever 'charm' side chicks are using on her husband inactive and void . I was shocked , ah ah. I asked her who told her to do such, she said it just came to her head. This thing happened last week and this man has been rubbing this cream mixed with her saliva and blood (period) filled urine. Chaaaai, Wahala dey oh, God abeg oh.

We're living by God's grace. I asked her if the cream isn't stinking, she said no. Since last week his legs are still outside, so what happens to the cream now, madam said she believes it will work cos she's his legal wife and that God knows that....... I've asked her to trash it, she said no, like sey she no tell me how I for take know wetin dey happen for her house?. Hmmmmmmmmmm, how on earth isn't that cream stinking for him to have a clue at least

How is she different from the side chics that allegedly Jazzed him? This is horrible, please be careful of her and dont even as mush as drink water from her

BLOG VISITORS OPINION NEEDED

Stella pls this is for IHN. Bvs pls what is your view about the use of endearment on someone you don't have any form of relationship with, be it family, business, work, nothing, more or less like a stranger.

There is this person (didn't even know she was a Lady until we had the misunderstanding, she didn't use her pics on her profile) whose advert I saw on a business WhatsApp group and I decided to make enquiries, then I changed my phone and lost our chats but I still remembered her cos I stored the number. After some weeks she messaged me and told me she lost her phone. I showed empathy to her and the the next thing she replied me "thank you dear". Note that I'm a Lady too but I didn't use my pics on my DP and my business name is what appears on Truecaller.

I was pissed. How can you be saying "dear" to someone you don't know, you don't even know my sex or marital status or age, nothing. What if my partner sees it and you are of the opposite sex with me? I showed my colleagues, they said I should ignore and block him or her but the good person in me decided to correct her.

I told her that it is inappropriate to use dear for someone you don't know while chatting especially as a business person, that it sounds off and some people will just cut her off. I gave an example using myself being a married woman and my husband may come across the chats and think otherwise if he is not the understanding type..

She told me I should have a better mindset, that "dear" does not mean anything, it is just a name, that a dear one can be a client, friend, etc, that she too is a married woman, bla bla bla. I just told her they already warned me not to correct her and I blocked her. My colleagues were just laughing at me.

So bvs, being in Nigeria with our culture and all sorts, did I do wrong?

If you were in my shoes, what would you have done? Was her reply OK?

HAPPINESS COLUMN

Nurturers

It is said that the female has been built by God to be softer, more caring, more loving, more understanding, in fact naturally nurturers. This features are seen not only on human females, but in females of other species too, even Lion and snake.
Infact, it is believed that most times, when you want to get something from a wicked man, pass through a female around him.

No matter how wicked that man is, if his wife doesn't get it from him, his mother would, as far as you are able to convince that woman,(because they are easily convinced),she will convince her man (with a couple of tears thrown in).
Generally, women are expected to be more empathetic than men. But, when a woman is wicked, then there is trouble.

They can destroy without feeling anything, that even the devil will cringe. Recent happenings has shown that a woman that is expected to protect can steal, kill and destroy, and still go to church to "speak in tongues and lift up holy hands".
Chaii!! God has seen something ohhh.

How can you explain the fact that the deaconess will continually torture her help with fire, stick, and all sorts in the private part, when her(maid) parents visits, she gives them food and money, and tells them that the girl is okay, and sometimes, even make her dress up to look fine, meanwhile the girls Virgina is rotting away. And still go to church and actively participate in church activities. What kind of heart does she have "stone"?

What of the female police officer in Rivers State accused of subjecting her 13 year old niece to various kinds of abuse, which includes, beating her everyday, pouring hot water on her, stripping her naked, forcing her to sleep outside naked till day break, stopping her from attending school, and other atrocious acts.
Who will they report this supposed law enforcement agent to, and who will save this girl from this woman?

Women that are supposed to be tender hearted, are just committing different kinds of wickedness, on house helps, step children, those that lives with them, and it is getting out of hand.

How do we stop this?

I think we should form an advocacy group or NGO mainly that creates awareness about these things, saves children that are victims of women abuse, and also see that these women are given the legal punishment they deserve, and give it more publicity, for others to learn.

I just know that something drastic has to be done, If not, women will displace devil from "the most wicked " oh.

INSIDE THE MIND OF A WOMAN GOING THROUGH MOTHERHOOD.

Endless chores...... with the kids I feel like that is all I am doing, the chores never end.

My laundry basket is always full and despite the fact that I have help, there is always one thing or the other to do. Washing the dishes, mopping the floors, picking up toys and all.

I am always busy, I sleep tired and I wake up tired. I open my eyes in the morning and there are four little hands pulling and prodding and yapping in my ears to wake up.

I love my kids very much but at times I feel like screaming at them.

I do my best not to beat with a cane and not to spank but there are occasions when my hands itch to give my first an “African mother brain resetting slap".

I have promised myself never to slap my kids because my sister still has ear issues from being slapped by a teacher in primary school , so I am wary of hitting children but there are times I just feel like unleashing it all on them. Moments like that I ask myself are they that bad or I am just frustrated and looking for a scape goat. So I slowdown, take a deep breath and try to talk calmly or simply scream at them.

I really really want to be a good mom, I want to give my children the best and raise them right but right now I am tired and genuinely hoping it will get better.

Hahahahahaha story.... Motherhood does not get easier oooh so just find your g- spot inside it and enjoy yourself..... My laundry basket is always full as well and i am tired of screaming at these big boys to stop wearing clothes as if a machine is the one that sorts them out...

Yours they don't let you sleep? Mine when i sleep is when they do all what i banned them from doing and commit all manner of ''havoc''....... it gets better doesn't it?....lol

  4. So back when I was in Nigeria, I had this habit that on the few occasion I use Uber or bolt, I always greet the driver and when I’m not with friends, I will even sit in front so we can chat if he’s interested in that. It was just a habit that came automatically to me.

I also continued it here. Once I enter an Uber, I say boa tarde (good afternoon) or bom dia (good morning) depending on what time of the day it is. And when I reach my destination, I say obrigada (thank you) before coming down. Because I have to check in my card right beside the driver when using buses, I also greet just because it was a habit.

So out of laziness, there’s this bus that leaves right in front of my house that I use whenever I want to go pick my daughter from Crèche (I said laziness because the Crèche isn’t so far from my house).

Once I enter this bus, I smile at the driver and say my usual boa tarde, he will respond and I would go sit down. I had no idea he was taking notes or even recognised me until yesterday.

So I took the same bus to go pick up my daughter and when I was heading home, I saw the bus was at the bus station about to leave. So I started walking very fast oh so I wouldn’t miss it (because here, bus doesn’t stop anywhere for anyone, once it has left the bus station, it won’t stop until the next station and you’d have to wait till the next one). The next bus was in an hour’s time. Unfortunately before I could get there, the bus had already started leaving. So I just looked at Alex and said, ‘bus has gone🙁’

Surprisingly, the driver just stopped when he got to where we were and beckoned to me to come and enter. I was so happy.

When I entered the bus, he started talking to two other women in the bus. I don’t speak Portuguese so I didn’t really understand what they were saying. But he would constantly point at me and I could make out ‘senhora and boa tarde and obrigada because he kept repeating it with a look of admiration on his face.

I may be wrong but I guessed he was telling them how I would always say boa tarde and obrigada when I entered and alighted from the bus. I was just so upset that I couldn’t speak the language or I would have explained to him that it was one of the morals inculcated in me from my home country.

I don’t know the moral lesson in this epistle but I sha know there’s a moral lesson somewhere in it 🤣

Infact,as the spirit leads,I call my daughters dear,my love, angel, swthrt etc so they no it's not a big deal before one boy in future will be calling them baby up and down and they start thinking that's an indication of love.
If your partner sees someone calling your dear on a supposed business chat and gets angry, that means he has issues or you must have punctured his trust for you at work point. Just my opinion sha

    WHAT IS HYPNOPEDIA? 🤔

It consists of talking to your child for 21 days in a row, while they are already in REM sleep (deep sleep).

REM sleep is achieved approximately 2 hours after they have fallen asleep. When you speak to them, it’s important to do it with a soft tone. Talk about the purpose you want your child to achieve and always finish the sentence, with loving words, like “I love you”.

For example, if you want your child to not to be aggressive, or fight with his friends - while they sleep you whisper, “My love, tomorrow you will play nice and you will have so much fun sharing with your classmates, I love you so much".

    Important!!!

When the child is sleeping, the words go directly to the unconscious, which hears 1,000 times more than the conscious.

    Benefits of Hypnopedia

Helps balance emotional, spiritual and physical energy.

With this tool we can help them to feel safer, become happier children and to feel tremendously loved by their parents or caregivers.

Let's put this beautiful technique into practice that brings enormous benefits and allows us to be closer to our little ones. #copied

Mr man, you are cheating openely without even hiding it from your wife, you think she is happy with you? Oh! she laughs with you and pretends she is fine, right? You still live in the same house with her, you eat her food, she still washes or arranges your clothes, shoes, etc. I pray you don't die because of outside pu**y.
The same thing applies to men who beat and maltreat their wives yet still living in the same house with them. I pity you Mr warrior. That "weak" woman you see, oga that "weak" woman is capable of killing you slowly, slowly till you disappear.

@Ijeoma PH, that your neighbour is a very dangerous woman.
My neighbour had that wicked attitude of maltreating any child that stays with her, very wicked woman but if she smiles, you'll think she's an Angel.
Congratulations bv Mama Amanda. Sign out quote is the truth.

  53. Poster with dear issues, i don't like it when a business partner i have not seen before uses it on me, but when i know u and u know me too, i don't bother.

As u corrected her and she refused to be corrected, let her be, she lacks formal and official sense period.
This is business u use sir or madam not dear.
Nigerians likes to copy copy, copy complete mbanu. Missing igbotic and yorubatic things with oyibo, kolework nah
She be eze onye agwalam leave her, left with me i wouldn't have questioned her.

#lets stop forcing people to accept what they don't want. If u don't like dear being used on u, keep preaching it and people with sound reasoning will adjust ok.
    I hate bullies.
Stop bothering urself biko nothing do u.

Poster don't mind that vendor calling you dear. One thing I have noticed in this our woke naija society is that they don't like to be corrected. Their 'oversabi' is on a very strange level.
Next time ignore but if your mind strongly probes you to correct then do it and ignore no matter the response.
    Congrats mama amanda

  58. How will you pose with your cute baby in a picture and not win face of in house news? People love babies na.
Face of in-house pictures should be yourself alone.
I'm sure ppl will start sending in pictures with babies for the competition.

  59. Where I live, using words such as -"darling","dear","gorgeous","mate","buddy" "poor duck" as part of expression while addressing a total stranger is the norm. So does that mean as a Nigerian I should "para"everytime I am addressed that way?...Hia!

  60. Poster,I also think you change your mindset. I don't see anything thing wrong with you calling someone you don't know 'dear'. Whether you are married or not
