Have you ever been close to Annie? Are you their neighbor? Do you have a friend staying with them? Or is their maid a friend of yours because the way you have been defending her looks like there's something you're not telling us. DeleteI was able to go through some comments on the blog late last night when I got to my hotel room. On the Annie's issues with the BIL, this is what I have to say.
ReplyDeleteFirst, I will say before anyone condemn Annie, please walk in her shoes. You may not have known what that woman had endured and buckled up for so long. I'm not in support of the social media call-out of her husband but then I understand that, there's a limit to how far people's emotion and patience can be stretched.
Why is it difficult for Pero or what do they called her to understand that Tuface is married and accord him that respect to his marriage? There are better ways to go about Tuface communicating with his grown up kids with Pero that won't warrant suspicion or disrespect to his wife. Why is Pero finding it difficult to move on from Tuface? Can't she get a life outside Tuface?
Those of you justifying the time difference for her midnight calls are being economical with the truth here. If someone in US calls by 1pm or even 2pm, you can get to Nigeria time between the hours of 7pm or 8pm. So why wait till midnight in Nigeria before calling him? Okay let's look at it again this way. If you call by 7am from US, you can definitely get to Nigerian time of 1pm or 2pm. So there's no justification for the midnight calls but a clear indication of wickedness from Pero with an intent to gaslight Annie knowing fully well at such time, they might probably be together at bed in each other arms.
What if both of them are still having some sexual affair? Or can you guys vouch for them that nothing of such will happen staying together in the same roof? I blame Tuface in all this messs.
As for Charles, two wrongs doesn't make a right. Dragging your brother's wife on the gram to justify your grouse with her doesn't make you a hero. All I see here is an accumulated grievances you have held for too long with reasons best known to you. You believe it was a perfect timing to let it all out but believe me, if you truly loves your elder brother, you won't publicly throw words with his wife, let alone ridicule her no matter how hurt you feel by her rants. Unless you are holding brief for him.
Wisdom isn't that common.
You ended up rubbishing your brother's family to the world.
Tuface, you brought all this upon yourself. I will leave you with the words of Late Prof. Chinua Achebe "The man that brings ant-infested faggots into his hut should not grumble when lizards begin to pay him a visit."

So a married woman that has her own mother living in her husband’s house will not allot her MIL access to the house?? Aaahh! You carry your family problems to SM and still sit tight in the house? If na me as I dey waka comot na im I go call out o. I won’t call out and still be in the “matrimonial home” no, it’s wrong!
ReplyDeleteThat Nedu’s wife wahala is another one, how can a grown woman put up a picture of a scratched elbow, no visible bruises and tell us they beat you to “stupor”?? No be face dey chop bearing pass?? I was onto her as soon as I saw that silly picture.
So because a man is married therefore he should abandon his siblings and mother? Then his wife will be insulting his family members because he helps them every once in a while? Then some shallow minded people will be supporting and cheering them on, now I have a glimpse of the utter rubbish these so called married women do at home…what a shame. Shallow minded people. God help us o. I come from a family of second generation sibling helpers, my sibs are my biggest cheerleaders and give me money when I’m stuck. I’m married o and doing better than I was and I am a helper because you can’t be chopping when your siblings are hungry and you will be facing your spouse alone! So because you’re helping them then you can be talking down on them? Wisdom is essential
