  4. Things are so expensive now. Oral B that I used to buy for 220 or 250 at most, I bought it this morning for 460. Toilet rolls that I buy for 2400 is now 4600. Spaghetti that was was 200 is now 330. Zartech chicken that I bought @1800 per kg 2 months ago is now 2400 per kg. I bought 3 pieces of plantain for 800 this morning. I called my customer in the market to give me the prices of milk and milk carton for the children going back to school. I called her on Tuesday and she said peak was 14,600 for a carton only to go to market on Thursday and it's now 16k in less than 48 hours. It almost turned to fight between me and the woman. She said bearely 2 hours after I called her, they brought supply for them at th4 new price.I don't even understand what's going on anymore. The thing don tire me.

  6. Wicked unions and associations, they are the reason behind this high cost of foodstuffs prices, if men were God, aru akemego😩

  7. All these their associations have caused more harm than good. You can't get to the shops to get items and meet the same price of two weeks before. They just escalate prices as if it's not all of us that are managing in this Nigeria.
    God help us oo

  8. These associations are making life unbearable for Nigerians, things are so expensive in the market that you now wonder if its not better to just cook the money and eat.
Imagine, now even a civil servant on 30k a month cannot feed not to talk of rent and other things.
I don't know how dollars now affect farm produce in naija aside the transportation, please make it make sense

    1. Is not their fault. Remember, Benue and Plateau is the food baskets of the Nation but Herdsmen dey their matter. As long as there is crisis in those areas, we will keep having this issues.
Our past president did alot by subsidizing Fertilizer and Agricultural Loan but this current one is an empty head, and all he can ever think of, is Ruga.

U can't even go to the market with list again bcus the prices change all the time. Dollar is now 545 and another price change will soon set.

  13. Gov Akeredolu, while at this please pay your workers!!!!! Ondo State workers are suffering so much, you pay them 30-40% of their salaries as you wish and still expect them to go to work daily.
I hope you've settled your state doctors who have been on strike for months?

  14. This frankly doesn't make sense. There's a reason there are Price Regulatory and other government bodies to ensure Market forces stay within reasonable limits. However, these governors will rather take drastic steps like this rather than empower the necessary institutions.
People are suffering out there. Aside drastic measures, a structured plan to ameliorate the suffering is extremely important at this point
