  1. Luckily I don’t get them all the time and when I do, it’s not usually quite severe so ibuprofen, 70% cacao dark chocolate and sleep is usually quite effective.

    1. Ginger, tumeric, garlic and that yellow lemon, grind them all and filter. Drinking half glass morning and night for the 3 days, The other 2 days don't pain me that much. The only thing advantage is that it will be rushing too much. But I prefer it to that killer cramps. Have tried all them painkillers, no one works for me. 5 days of hell I called it before, but not anymore since I discovered these mixture.

PS: I now discovered that bitter kola is the solution to menstrual cramps.

    2. This feels like death for me; the severe abi extreme pain, the nauseatic feeling and puking, the mood swing, the rolling on the floor not minding where I find myself, excessive intake of painkiller and just anything recommended by anyone(NSAIDs that gave me ulcer even as they mostly end up with little or no positive effect), the continues visits to the hospital, the public embarrasement(the fact that I'm totally a different person-like going from a lion to a helpless chicken and being vulnerable to just anything) and I can go on and on.

This is the cup I pray is taken away from me so I can be free for once. This has shattered me and I'm hoping I will just wake up one morning and see a sign of God's miracle in my life.

Yes, your last line about sugar is the truth. I do not take refined sugar again. If it is not cane juice crystals or honey count me out. I also noticed that chocolate worsens it. Probably due to the sugar too.

  3. Before my myomectomy, once my period is approaching, I start taking pain meds cos onxe the cramps starts, the pain is unbearable. Rolling and sleeping on the floor worked for me. No pain in years, but noticed it's like the pain wants to show face again.

  6. Thank God I do not have menstrual cramps.
I remember a girl in my school fellowship who we all knew to be admitted in hospital for
cramps whenever she is on her menses.
We had a communion service (unleavened bread and grapevine wine; we ladies baked the bread).
about two weeks after that, she testified of a "good embarrassment" of having her seat in class stained by menstrual blood. She did not even
know that she was in her menses.
And she hasn't had those nasty cramps ever since.

  8. I used to have terrible cramps that kept me indoors with medications for a while. One day while reading my Scriptures, my eyes opened to Genesis 3 and 1 Corinthians 11. God did not make women to suffer menstrual pain. The pain is only in child-bearing and he promised to deliver us from that. So I began to pray against that. I was moved to modify my diet and I did. I took off all refined sugars and products like soda drinks, malted drinks, coffee, tea, kola and so on. Friends, that was the end of my menstrual cramp story o for years now, I don't experience anything, just occasional headaches which I discovered that it happens when I do not drink enough water during these periods.

  13. If God says Abionah, ask me a special favor, it will be that Period Should Last For Just One Day. How can someone be bleeding for 5 days o God. Please. Days 2 and 3, my Lord my God, I always die and wake up. One day sef, I woke my neighbor around 3am. He drove me to the hospital on my street. That was after enduring excruciating pain from 9 pm. I took all the 'takeables'. Hot water, hot plain Lipton etc. No headway until we landed in hospital. This last period nko, as the pain started around 8pm, my mind just told me to carry myself to the chemist as my neighbor no get car again to carry me go hospital. My neighbor gave me one foreign paracetamol. Instant relief I got after taking it.

  21. Is it the pains, the mood, bloating, being sad and moody? But for the first time since I started menstruating and there was no single pain, was my last menses. Someone talked about, sitting on hot water with cloves, scent leaf and salt added to the water, that it eliminate smell after menstruation

I tried it, and the only thing I did different was doing the hot water stuff, and I noticed, there was no single pain my next menses, like not one, in almost my 3 decades on earth, since my menses started unbelievable

But I'm looking forward to my next menses to see if the pains will come, if it doesn't come, then the sit on water worked for me
