For weeks some weaklings has been circulating lies about the department of chemical engineering in UNN. They claim the department was closed because it was responsible for producing bombs in the then biara. That department was in UNN till about the mid 1980s when the department stopped admitting students according to the dean of the faculty. People will just write silly things and attach the names of prominent Nigerians alive or dead create unnecessary problems.
