Runs girl trying to make Oko Ashawo run at a loss should not happen at all...
Many people do not know how to count the cost and pay the price. I still wonder how someone will go out and not properly analyze the situation before spending.
Some days ago, it rained in the morning and this usually comes with a Surge on the driving app, which means an increase in price because there is usually higher demand in such situations. I stayed on the Island overnight and I got a trip around 5:30am from a lady going to Egbeda, somewhere on the mainland.
I smiled when I saw that it was a Surge trip knowing I will get more than the usual fare. I picked up this lady promptly and we embarked on our trip to her destination with lots of traffic. We talked along the way and this girl seemed to be like a posh girl from her accent and mannerisms. I no go lie … this girl fine wella and I kept stealing glances especially as what she wore was a bit revealing.
When I eventually ended the trip, her fare was 8,500. As I showed her the amount, she just shouted …. “Yeeee, modaran. Gbese ree o” (meaning “I am in trouble, this is shortage) As I was trying to grasp what was going on, she just switched to Yoruba language and started begging me to have mercy on her.
She said she spent 3,000 Naira the previous night moving from her place to the Island for runs and she ended up getting only 15k as the man would not add more saying he is broke. Now, spending another 8,500 would mean she has spent 11,500 Naira on transportation as she would be left with only 3,500 saying that is bad business after all she has used her privates to do all night.
She cried and begged me to take 4k so that she will not be at a loss. I just squeezed my face and told her straight that it is none of my business, that I work for my money. So, I should bear her loss on what basis? Moreover, Uber will take their percentage commission from the fare, so which account will I put that one?
After much haggling back and forth with lots of begging, I finally agreed to take 7k from her and let her go.
Na wah…. My eyes dey see things for this Lagos.

The best thing to do is to play a sermon while driving and if she complains, tell her you listen to preaching while you drive. Then pray the holy spirit minister to her through the sermon. When you drop her, after you don collect your money, invite her to fellowship at your church. No call her after that oh, because if you no strong spiritually, she go drag you into sin.

I saw a video online some days ago. A Bolt driver refused to allow a girl come down from her car. She claimed to be a video vixen and was trying to contact her boyfriend to pay her fare of 2,100.
She even sat at the back forming big girl but no shishi ....

DeleteI know a lady that when she's going very far, she'll put her shoes in her bag and wear flats. When she's very close to her destination, she'll then request an Uber and pay very little. The AC would have done her good and she arrives fresh.

Some of them use taxi because they dress provocatively when going for business. These ones do not stand on the road side and wait for customers. They get pimped out or get their customers on social apps. If you see them outside, you will never know that they are coded prostitutes.

ReplyDeleteI can't bet you that she was lying about being paid 15k. Those type of high runs girls collect 25-50k per night that's why they go to Island to hustle. She did that so that Oko Ashawo will try and pity her. I like how he stood his ground although he later reduced his fare and I bet you that these girls will not reciprocate this ur kind gesture if u were in their shoes. Pls always collect ur full payment from them weda in kind or otherwise and stop fearing stella's red biro and give us the full gist biko. Preach wetin for her, that's not even proffesional at all.
