My thoughts about it is hat as a single lady when you reject a guy or even someone from the past you should keep it moving . Do not go back to him because you think he has changed or upgraded..some people are naturally vile and vindictive based on past treatment. I was surprised the lady couldn’t remember his face from childhood . The main character and her friends were really mean to him when they were younger. There should have been some clues. I still remember my friends from primary school and one ended up attending same uni with me. Well that is my two cents on this .

The next morning, Nancy Edison pulled her son out of the school and from that day, began to teach him diligently at home.
Many years later, Thomas Edison had grown into the most prolific inventor of his time.
He had invented the electric light bulb, the first electric generator, the first record player (called the phonograph then), submarine radar, a cinema, and about one thousand other inventions that helped to usher-in the modern age.
He was celebrated world-wide as the father of inventions.
Meanwhile his mother had passed away quietly.
One day he was going through her closet and found the letter which was given to him by his teacher for his mother.
He remembered it was the same letter that made his mother pull him out of school and undertake many years of home schooling.
So he opened it.
The message written on the letter was,
“Your son is mentally ill. We can not let him attend our school anymore. He is expelled.”
Thomas Edison then realized what his mother did, which probably saved his life and future.
For several hours he sat motionless with tears streaming down his face.
Finally, he gathered enough strength and wrote in his diary,
“Thomas Alva Edison was a mentally ill child whose mother turned him into the genius of the century.”

DeleteThis reminds me of Steve Harvey's story as well. While growing up his teacher gave his class an assignment/ class work to write about what they wanted to become in the future.
Harvey wrote that he wanted to be on TV. Upon submitting his paper the teacher condemned him. She has expected him to write doctor, lawyer, teacher or police officer. Anything aside from him being on TV. She even went further to ask if anyone in his family had ever being on TV.
The teacher got angry and told him to stick the assignment on his shirt. Upon getting home, his mother was of the same opinion with his teacher. She told him to wait for his dad for "ass whopping" later in the day.
Thinking about his punishment, his dad arrived and his mom explained what happened. His dad called his aside and told him to explain the situation himself.
Fortunately after his explanation his dad told him his career choice was valid. But he should just write what his teacher wanted and write what he wanted in a separate paper. He said he kept the separate paper in his drawer and it reminded him everyday what he was going to be.
This is the best thing I've read this year.

The way those women gave birth to plenty children in those days is worrisome. They will now pass the responsibility of training the younger ones on the elderly ones. Some are still giving birth to 4, 5 and 6 kids nowadays. It's the poor kids that I pity.

This is how someone who is newly born again can follow God and do the works of Jesus right away. They don’t have years of practicing the presence of God. Nor do they have years of Bible teaching, yet they can follow the Lord and fulfill the purpose of God for their lives. Because hearing God’s voice has nothing to do with how long you’ve been saved, but all to do with the new heart and mind of Christ that you have received. You know His voice because you have received Jesus. You are His sheep. No matter how you feel, you are in God’s sheepfold. Settle this truth in your heart. If you want to hear His instructions, He says ask, and you will receive. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and the door will be opened to you. If you want to hear Him tell you which car to buy, ask Him. If you want to hear Him tell you whether you should marry that man or not, ask Him and expect to receive an answer. He wants to lead you. He wants to see you blessed.

I work hard like no man's business yet you give people the impression everything is done by you. I have never been bothered about this because i chose to understand your situation. I cannot understand why you would steal from me. We used to contribute our son's school fees when he was in KG class. You stopped adding a dime to his fees since then. Now he is in primary 5. I can remember why I stopped giving the fees for you to pay. You would remove part of it and owe the school. When i discovered, i paid off what was being owed and started paying directly from my account. I would ask you to assist to buy ileya ram for my muslims parent, you would hike the price.Still get angry that my dad did not call you to say thank you....Until I made you realise that it was my money we used to buy things for my parent...I can go on and on but the most recent is that we agreed to sell one of my properties which you are claiming inorder for me to have money for my study trip by next month. You sold it at a higher price but claimed the buyer paid less. The property that you did not contribute a dime to build. I allowed you handle the negotiation because of my busy schedules. I got to know when you wanted to transfer the funds to my account and I saw bank account balance that was zero before the buyer paid. You quickly claimed someelse transfered some money to you that same time. I requested to see the transaction history and you refused. As usual, i will never nag but dialogue with you but you are just wickedly strong hearted. I urge you to say the truth for 3 days but you refused. The story about you cheating is another one. Divorce is not an option for me, we will be together till God knows when but you have lost the naive girl you got married to. You appreciate the peace in our home because I love peace. I have decided not to involve you in my finance anymore. I pray you understand that stealing from me over the years could be one of the reasons you are beneath me financially. I pray you change.

That kind of man can kill you because of your money. Disable phone alerts on all your accounts that have large amount of money. Remove bank Apps from your phone. Change your ATM pins. Just be using one account for running expenses and be putting small small money there and let that one to have phone alerts.
