DeleteI would first dedicate the medal to the good Lord God Almighty, my father and mother, before my pastor. Your parents gave birth to you and went through the inevitable rigours of raising you into teenage and adulthood before you ever accepted a faith and chose a career path. Pastors should learn not to accept God's or another man's glory even if it was ignorantly offered. Teach people to "honour their father and mother- the first commandment with a promise." That wisdom and humility.

DeleteWhen you win your medal dedicate it to your parents. It's her medal she won it and she knows who inspired it. If I win a medal I will drape around my late mum because she was my pillar my everything. I will not dedicate to my father nor a pastor it will be hyprocrisy to me. My first salary was given to my parents, so I'm not a pastor worshipper, none has touched my life. I applaud her for breaking with the norm. A lot will say my parents my spouse but they don't mean it, they just want to sound correct. People should respect other choices. She don try she won Nigeria first medal with all the rubbish support from the government. If she wants to drape on a tree. HER CHOICE.

Now she is going to make Oyedepo claim that he won the medal for her through night vigil. You folks are just too emotional. Oyedepo and his church business has nothing to do with this bronze medal.
DeleteOga say something else. There are way bigger things his members do that oyedepo has not claimed to win by fasting and prayers ,it's now bronze medal that he will kill himself over. It's like you don't know the Calibre of people that attend that church. Win your medal and dedicate it to your parents period!

He said,there have always been reknown men of God who God has always been in covenant with. Covenant of good health, longevity, prosperity etc. When you ask for the grace of God working in them to work for you,God who is a God of covenant always honours His word. I learnt from that message
