Manchester City would have been the perfect fit for him because Man city represent the calibre of teams Cristiano Ronaldo is known to play for.Good football,world class coach in Pep Guadiola,quality players left and right and Man City as a brand itself.
Cristiano Ronaldo over the years has built this winning mentality with him over the years and that is the more reason he doesn't settle for mediocre clubs.
Man united have failed woefully in recent years when it comes to maintaining success that big teams are known hence,it is a big let down on the part of Ronaldo going back to a team that has lost it big time;a team that can't boast of winning the league it plays in over 8 years, a team that can't boast of winning a major trophy for the past 5 years,a team that can't boast of a world class winning coach.
Franky speaking, let's forget about the close affiliation Ronaldo has with Man United.This decision of his of going back to a team that has failed woefully over the years will be the biggest regret of his career.
