Oh dear!!!!
A 62-year-old man has committed suicide by hanging in Ondo State.
The deceased, a husband to a popular evangelist in Akure North Local Government Area of Ondo State took his own life at their Ayede-Ogbese home.
The deceased identified as Moshood Lasisi, who was said to have been using crutches to aide his movement due to leg issues he had been battling with for a while and hung himself when his wife and children had gone to the farm.
His wife, Lady Evangelist Victoria Lasisi discovered his corpse in the room after returning from the farm.
According to sources, after the wife knocked on the door severally without response, she had to peep through the window where she saw her husband’s body dangling from the rope which he allegedly used to tie himself to the roof of the room.
When the door was forced opened, it was observed that the deceased had arranged tables and foot stools to carry out the suicide.
Speaking on the development, the Chairman, Christian Association Of Nigeria, CAN in Ogbese, Pastor Oyedeji Aladenika described the incident as shocking and wondered why the deceased had to commit suicide.
The CAN Chairman said the man was living with a dislocation in his leg but his wife and children were taking care of him.

ReplyDeleteMaybe the woman dealt with him and made him feel inferior
ReplyDeleteMay God forgive you for blaming a woman who may be innocent of your allegations.
DeleteWaoh Eliza well done! Even your ‘maybe’ did not reduce how cold you sounded.
DeleteA mans duty is to protect and provide and many of them take great pride in doing it. Once they are unable to do dis due to unemployment and sickness, many of them feel inadequate as a man.
DeleteVery sad story, hope he finds peace.
Life is too precious... If only we realize how some people wish and fight to live longer. That same life is what some one ll take just like that. I wish life is transferable... No matter what you are going through in life, suicide is not the way.
ReplyDeleteMay his soul rest in peace

This is heartbreaking 💔
Suicide is never an option
ReplyDeleteHow tragic. I doubt this is simply about broken leg and crutches. Unless he was prescribed medication that messed with his mental state. Some medication is known to induce suicidal thoughts.
