ReplyDeleteMay your gentle soul rest in peace 🙏🙏
Death is a respecter of no one.
DeleteMy condolences to his wife Nosa and the family.
Pancreatic cancer and Ovarian cancer. Two very deadly forms of cancer, survival rate is very low no matter the money or level of medical-care you have access to.
DeletePlease Lord let this never be our portion nor d portion of any member of our family.
Rest in peace Captain Hosa. 🙏🙏
Amen

ReplyDeleteYes. One of those with low survival outcomes.
DeleteYep Patrick Swayze* died of pancreatic cancer and practically wasted away till he died.
DeleteI think it was what killed Steve jobs too.
Very low and so fast too, within one year of diagnosis, the person is gone

ReplyDeleteHe was filthy rich, but the one thing he needed the most was the one thing his wealth could not afford. Rest in peace Captain.
ReplyDeleteVery rich as in RICH! If money can buy death, he would have given billions to save his life but unfortunately death cannot be bought. Very unfortunate for him
DeleteWhenever a rich person dies, you people must talk about how his wealth could not save him. Na wa.
DeleteAnon. 17:00 it is not Nawa, people reiterate this, so as to let people know the limit to which money can go, hence we should not hurt anyone, just because we want money, as it is not worth it.
DeleteCelebrant,God bless you
DeleteDon't mind that person speaking,I work in cancer unit at abroad. I have seen rich and poor, young and old pass. I have seen the up and mobile with their surrounded by useless expensive designers which they barely noticed.most have regrets, not really about death, but about the real essence of living they sacrificed to acquire money and finer things which which never really made them happier and now those things are useless to them as well. I have seen 37 years old Dr who taught she is about to start the dream life.an oly child. She sacrificed all to be that in order to have a better life but that life is taken from her.she has no regret of pursuing her dream but she has regret of not living and enjoying the moment while she was doing that. She said, don't wait till you have completed this or that before you can live. A recent master degree holder, 42 ovarian. She told me she just finished and was going to really start living and then this ovarian cancer, she is getting chemo, and booked her cruise before she gets to the worst stage but covid happened and she couldn't, she has been depressed, she couldn't live her dream. I have touched up, made changes to alot of things in my life much to displeasure of those who has never experienced what I experience in that job. I made plans for my young kids and live my life knowing that it can be taken away at any moment. I have seen it so often that it doesn't scar me anymore, when o talk to some close family or friends about wills, life insurance, about plans when you are not here, they are usually God forbid, Our Nigeria slang.I still plan for future, getting certifications and all that but I make sure to enjoy today.
DeleteEven poor people get cancer. What money does is give a fighting chance to treat it, prolong time or make d patient comfortable with less pain till he passes on.
DeleteSo no matter what money is still important. Cos a poor person treating cancer wont find it easy, its damn expensive to treat. And it does not discriminate, old/young,poor/rich...it is not an illness exclusive to the rich.
May his soul rest in peace
ReplyDelete@ Celebrant GOOD POINT AND WELL SAID
DeleteHealth is wealth, we tend so forgetful of our immortality and our body degenerate as we get older, susceptible to insulin resistance, downgraded mitochondria, excessive division on cellular level and our brain degenerate(leads dementia/alzheimers) and we can mitigate all that by earlier active life, through excercise, healthy nutrition and enough sleep for better healing/regeneration from within on the cellular level.. Cancer is caused by unhealthy lifestyle and insulin resistance is major causes of pancreatic cancer..
ReplyDeletePls say what you know. I live in the UK and there are so many people with HEALTHY lifestyles who had cancer. Let's try and be sensitive with our comments. Ahn ahn
DeletePeople have done all you've listed and even more yet fallen ill. It's not by power or might.
DeleteThere is someone right now who will smoke a pack of cigarette today, have a few beers, eat a McDonald's meal, go to bed and not brush their teeth and will live to a ripe old age without ever having a major illness. There is another person who will be exercising, doing vegetarian lifestyle, working on their spirituality, helping others and making a difference in the world and they will get a major illness that will take their life at a young age.
DeleteThis world is full of mysteries, nothing is ever sure in this place.
If this is not the truth. I’ve someone eat very healthy the other fried eggs and bacon daily and inactive lifestyle the healthy one died of three different cancers.
DeleteIt will now be like, Murphy of Igodomigodo family said it and it came to pass.
ReplyDeleteHis daughter is the wife of the incoming Olu Of Warri.
RIP Captain sir.
So sad. Rip Sir.
