DeleteI think she's referring to HIV and STDs/STIs, I think it necessary to know your status. I actually did all these tests and feel happy knowing my status.Many people actually feel HIV is the only disease one can get forgetting that they're other sickness worst than it, like herpes. I asked few of my friends guys to be precise if the have heard of herpes, majority of them know nothing about it, i had to tell them to read about it and be careful or get tested atleast very 3months.

DeleteI like the fact that from time to time people keep reminding those who have forgotten especially the younger generations. STDs are real and there are trailer loads of them but I don't know if it's movies encouraging people to sleep with anyone they love anytime they want. Go on instagram, go on youtube and see. HIV might not be a death sentence but is it easy taking drugs with terrible side effects for the rest of your life for something you could have prevented. E no dey show for face. The other day I was browsing instagram and stumbled on a fairly popular nigerian producer being HIV positive. If you see him fine tall fresh. Has been involved with big names and big productions even one of the recently concluded shows on African magic. From his IG comment section you can decode he has knowingly infected some unsuspecting girls.

ReplyDeleteThat is the sad reality. Most people haven't heard of it. It's moving like a wild fire in The States. Chances are that 6 out of 10 Americans are infected with herpes. And that's a warning to both guys and ladies who are knacking all these abroadians skin to skin. I almost got infected by one Akata, na God save me. We were in the heat of the moment, and I suddenly lost my urge, an experience I have never had before. Na later, the chick open up to me say she get herpes oo.
