Ahem… I’ve lost a good friend like a brother for years, a great Nollywood actor par excellence. I’m just speechless. R.I.P Amb. Rich Oganiru. RIP Amb Rich Oganiru. Well, his sad demise reminds me of a song “Celebrate me while I am still alive”.’
Two weeks ago, a video of the actor lying on his sickbed and begging for financial assistance was shared online.
The caption of the video was ‘Please, everyone should reach out before he dies''

Hmm that story ehnn. My friend was a neighbor to him and the late wife and nobody could really say what happened. Saw him in 2014 in Abuja around Berger and I found it so difficult to believe that he was the famous actor I grew up watching on TV,it wasn't a pleasant sight at all. May God rest his soul,sometimes life just messes one up completely

ReplyDeleteRest in peace. I suggest nollywood should create an arm that projects the real status of her actors. We can hardly separate their true status from the scripted ones. A good number of them have died in abject poverty. Even when people see them on sick beds, there is a false notion that they have the wherewithals to save themselves from such situations. It's a pity indeed.
