INSIDE THE MIND OF A WOMAN GOING THROUGH MOTHERHOOD


Toxic people, these set of people are master manipulators. They have the ability to affect all areas of our lives. They have a very subtle way of creeping into our lives, before you know it they have wormed themselves so deep, they begin to manipulate and control us. They are so subtle that we make excuses for them most of the times. Toxic people and environment are draining, they drain a person emotionally, Physically, financially etc.

The most difficult toxic relationship or environment is a parent or a spouse.

Personally I have experienced living in a toxic environment and dealing with a toxic parent.

I grew up in a toxic home, at first things were quite peaceful but my mom decided to stop submitting her salary to my dad and all hell broke loose. The verbal and emotional abuse became full blown and turned physical. It is the most disheartening thing to watch as a child . 

We were helpless and gradually our self esteem was eroded, we walked on egg shells in the home and of course mama transferred some aggression to us. As kids, we had to pretend all was well and dared not show any emotion in public or in Church. We were the kids of a generous and gentle loving Church overseer. If only people knew what went on behind closed doors.

My mom worked multiple jobs to give us the best and also to meet his demands. I remember him beating her for not giving him money for a car he wanted, of course she bought it for peace’ sake. The pain and the bitterness in her eyes was heart-breaking. Everyone was depressed. At that time it looked like we were stuck in an unending dark tunnel. I saw first hand how her dreams, ambitions and drive for life was trampled on. It was like she was dying slowly.

Being what some people regard as an empath, I was plagued by so much guilt at my helplessness. I prayed so hard for freedom and a change.

Truly God answers prayers. He gave my mom the best gift ever, and that was the strength to walk away and cutting off totally. It was really hard, leaving with nothing when you own everything.

I watched her start from the scratch. I watched her blossom again. I watched the laughter return. I would pause what I was doing to watch her laugh, it was a beautiful sight to behold. She came back up stronger and better. She is serving God with all she has and we are all healing well.



I strongly believe that the best solution when dealing with a toxic parent or spouse is to leave, remove yourself from the situation. It might be quite hard, but it is worth it. Some women dealing with toxic spouses claim they are staying for the children’s sake, they fail to realize how much harm they are causing their children. Save yourself first and cut loose from any toxic relationship or environment.




Hmmmm this is so deep... he beat her because she did not submit her salary? Are you for real? Please if you are in this situation, this is not love oh.

The Franchise And The Mascot.


Oyedepo, reportedly sacking Pastors of some of his branches for general underperformance is really not a biggie. Therefore may Pharisees and Sadducees find something else to rail about. After all McDonald's or Wendy's have closed down some of their outlets all over the world for the same reasons. The integrity and solvency of the Franchise makes better sense than what Jesus would do, would have or wouldn't have done!


If the usual government subvention via brethren of the civil service creed is no longer forth coming , should the limping tithe and offerings via the suffering masses be allowed to crumble ( ka ma ri ni Polu wi ) .To who a big cathedral is entrusted , a magnanimous return to the head quarter ( head cutter ) is expected .


I asked someone about his opinion and he replied "He doles out the Franchise to outstanding pastors who can lay down their lives for him without logic and complete submission. Not remitting adequate revenue is good ground for closure. Ofę ni igbala not in his Winners Establishment.
It's clearer to absorb when you see Oyedepo as the Franchise. And Christ as only the Mascot.
