Do you know that hair can smell if it stays on for too long without being groomed or taken off totally? You didnt know? OMG, you mean you have been walking around with a mini Sambisa forest in your armpits and down there?
Are you one of those who does not believe in shaving the hairs down and up there from time to tome? My brother, my sister that may be one of the reasons why your kini stinks!..... black hair turned brown and matted from dirt? Please shave!
Even if the hair did not turn brown, it still needs to go!
If Partner likes it hairy, you still need to educate them on the important of shaving all off from time to time otherwise you will smell like Bushmeat down there!
How do you maintain the armpits and down there?

I can't imagine myself not shaving. It will even start itching when it's much. I am team shave armpit and down below biko.

ReplyDeleteI personally only wax my underarms and privates because it lasts longer and I don’t get razor bumps or ingrown hairs. However I don’t judge any woman that prefers to keep hair down there sha, as long as it’s regularly and properly groomed. If she wants to go au naturel or stick to the 70s bushy style, it’s her prerogative.
Waiting for ignorant folks to come and condemn women that prefer to keep bushes when their shaved snatches are in worse condition 🥱
Men should try and be shaving their underarms Abeg. Being a man is no excuse to neglect grooming yourself and really it’s an eyesore. That’s the one I judge very well.
I keep bush as I dont were bikini swim wear or any action if you get me ..so I use feminine wash, wipes and occasionally feminine spray to keep that place smelling good
DeleteI shave always just because i get itchy when I have stubbles in my pits and down there. That’s all. Not shaving doesn’t mean one is dirty or oozes.

IMO, do what makes you feel good.
Shaved yesterday and it feels brand new. Health wise, it is recommended that the hairs should not be shaved or better off trimmed down but abeg, nothing beats shaving off completely.

DeletePeople lived with what you call forest for hundreds of years and there was no smell. Shaving is a very recent thing . Not everyone is dirty , people always knew how to maintain and care for your so called forest. Shaving is a choice, there is no real advantage to it. How is keeping your forest when you are not in a relationship, your husband/boyfriend is out of town different from those who trim theirs or just leave it bushy. Those who want to shave should , those who want to trim theirs should and those who are comfortable allowing it to be bushy should stick to what makes them happy. There is no global standard. Whether you shave , trim or leave am bushy wetin go smell go smell.

DeleteThe hair creates a barrier to protect your gentler parts. Hair between the butt cheek aid with protecting those sensitive areas from friction burns. Armpit hair is good to protect the lymph nodes and also create your own unique aroma, I guess that was necessary from primal times when being able to smell each other was necessary for survivial.

Just groom yourself and be intentional while at it.
On a daily bushy/trimmed public hair gets plucked off while you bath and wash with sponge and soap.
ReplyDeleteI don't see why you public hair should smell if you don't have an infection or if you bath regularly and properly.
I don't shave, the hair is quite long but scanty just like the hair on my head, I stand by my standing mirror and I see the skin even as its bushy.
I stopped shaving since 2018 cos it usually makes me have bumps,ingrown hair and above all itchy. See why keeping the hair is a good option for me.
Anytime I use the bathroom I clean up with soap and water.
Occasionally I carve the edges to give it some style and shape(my public hair easily grows out of shape,very funny)
My privates don't smell, everyday I try to observe the smell of my discharge and my hair/skin, I'm very particular about this. To crown it all I have been celibate since 2018.
As for my armpit I shave twice a month, they don't grow fast, generally I'm not a hairy person,so why I go shave off the little I have?🤣.
If you are hairy you can still keep hairs as long as you are particular about your hygiene.
You don't need a bf/girlfriend b4 you can do proper grooming, just do it for yourself.

DeleteLeaving armpit unshaved does not cause body odor. If you take ur bath let’s say in the morning, rub deodorant( very important), body spray, perfumes, and then at night also take a shower and body spray. There’s no way in hell or heaven you’ll smell.

Funny enough, I can be at home with a bushy umderarm and not sweat but before I even finish preparingredients to go out, I must see small sweat. I need help!!!
