Nawa o,someone cant hail in yoruba again and u start arguement in it. I dont see anyone disputing who is which tribe when u ppl hail in ibo on dis blog. Mschewww
Very good! including the one mentioned in the comments.
I do wonder, like do u think females empower fellow females or we just like to compete and dominate then that's it? I read some incisive comments in the alakija bday post
I congratulate them and I hope they spread these opportunities to go round
I admire the fact that these women have done well for themselves to a great extent and some truly deserve it but at the same time, this is tokenism. Dashing out MD to women is the new 'woke' in the industry. Also this thing is being done along tribal line too.
Congrats to all the female MDs. We have them as CEOs in many private organizations too. Female mds are different to their male counterparts, mine nearly finished me. Some women cannot handle power, we hear am. If you question her, she will feel as if u are being disrespectful bcus of her gender whereas in my mind I actually admire this woman bcus she is really good just bad at handling staffs.
What we need to understand is that there are pple who are just rude and ill mannered regardless of gender. Ur boss is bad (allegedly )becoz dat is who she is and not becoz she's a woman. Don't we have really terrible male bosses? Do we then say that male bosses are the worst?

ReplyDeleteBut when it is gi given to men, it is earned and not tokenism, right?
