MONDAY IN HOUSE NEWS.

What a Monday!..... Positive vibes everywhere near me!

IN HOUSE MEMO

I hope everyone is OK? The BVs that have not commented, I hope that all is well. There is a BV who had a fall and was advised to go to native people to massage but that massage has cost her a lot. She was operated on her legs last week and she will undergo another operation to try to correct what the native massage intensified. She will heal properly in Jesus name.

Please stop listening to everybody when you have a problem, learn to read and make up your mind by yourself so that you do not end up regretting your choices...If one person goes to massage at the native place and they are OK and come to recommend it to you, it might not have the same results...

Please apply this to all areas of life and you will be fine.

If you are a BV currently down, or sick in hospital, we pray that you get well soon and come back to commenting...

People are going through a lot and so much is going on. please be nice to people,

BE NICE TO PEOPLE!!!

INSIDE THE MIND OF A WOMAN GOING THROUGH MOTHERHOOD.

This column was formerly named ''MY OVARIES OH''

All former gists remain valid..lol

There is a popular saying that says “ agba gbon omode gbon lafi da ile Ife" it means Ife was created by the wisdom of both the young and old. Children say a lot of crazy things but they also say a lot of wise things too.

As a child I was always shut down and not given a voice. I dared not share my opinion about certain things and I was expected to obey adults without questions, any deviation from this meant punishment and being termed as rude.

This is common in a lot of African homes. Children are not allowed to have an opinion or even make small decisions independent of an adult. This goes a long way in affecting a child’s self esteem and ability to process emotions.

I am trying to correct this with my kids and children around me. I try to make them feel comfortable enough to express themselves around me without fear. I engage them in serious age appropriate discussions asking for their opinions and advice.

Most importantly I listen and let them know that I am. I involve them in the family’s decision making and respect their decisions . Decisions like what everyone will be having for dinner, places to go for outing and I also let them pick my outfit at times. I also ask them questions and give them tasks to do without adult supervision. I try not to get annoyed when they ask a million and one questions and answer as patiently as possible. This is just to help them to be proactive and be deep thinkers, who aren’t scared to think outside the box.

The perception you have about your child matters too. Stop saying a child talks too much instead see it as the child is very expressive or instead of saying a child is stubborn, see it as being strong willed and determined that way you will be able to help the child channel their strengths in the right direction instead of treating the trait as a weakness.

Please baby girl, take note of the change of name . #kisses

MARRIAGE - An Institution Of Love And Commitment And Not An Ego Business

This is A memo to all the married men and husbands to be . Do not take this as a joke, or even see it as one of my mischievous yarns. Please take it as an urgent plea and take it serious!

Let's activate our collective sense of self-preservation. Be rest assured that Marriage is a lethal agent of equal opportunity. And the death by not loving your partner or having an extra-marital affair is avoidable, preventable and I dare say it that - the foolish ones die more from it than the very keen, the obedient and the extremely careful.

It's only an Anniversary out of the many you are likely to live through and very well enjoy in your hopefully long lifetime. Many shall come and many Anniversary shall go! Baby Jesus somehow "gets born" in a Manger every December of every year. If you play it well, or play it safe - you shall hopefully celebrate another  Anniversary of your marriage with peace and the next and the next... etcetera, etcetera, telemundo

Brethren, please and please - simply follow the guidelines.
condemn extra-marital affairs where necessary.

Maintain social distancing with your ex at all times.

Remember dreams die soon as you die!
And it cuts deep into the soul to lose a life not really destined or marked for death just yet but due to a moment of foolishness !

  1. When I look back on some of the things I prayed for in the past, I feel lucky and grateful that they didn’t happen because now that I know better, some of the things I prayed for would have ruined my life. You see, it’s not that God didn’t answer your prayer, he answered it by not giving it to you. It was his way of telling you that this is not going to serve you and one day you will know exactly why.

Sometimes it’s a blessing that it didn’t work out with someone you wanted to be with because they weren’t good for you or they had circumstances that you wouldn’t have been able to live with because you hear what people say about them now or you see what kind of partner they are and you get why God didn’t make it happen. Sometimes it doesn’t work out because you were meant to find someone better for you or make room for them to show up.

Sometimes it’s a blessing that you didn’t get the job you wanted because you didn’t know what kind of environment you were going to be in and it pushed you to be creative and look outside your field or your comfort zone and you found something that motivated you more, something you were more passionate about and something you can actually make a difference in. There’s always a bigger reason why you weren’t granted your wishes and the reason is always valid and serving your best interest.

Sometimes God doesn’t answer your prayer the way you want to but he answers them in his own way. Maybe that looks like rejection or failure or heartbreak or injustice in the beginning but when you accept that reality and start moving on with your life, you look back and you understand how his answer was much better than yours. You look back and you secretly thank him for changing your path or your calling or your heart. You thank him for removing certain people and opportunities from your life because now you know how toxic they could have been. Now you know what’s right for you and what you deserve and that’s something God knew all along.

Sometimes it’s a blessing that you didn’t get what you prayed for because that means that God has better plans for you and his blessings will exceed everything you once prayed for. When you figure out God’s vision behind your unanswered prayers, you will understand that sometimes he protects you from yourself._ Rania Naim

  2. Divine Health Confessions!!

I dwell in God’s realm of life, where I reign through the Word. I’ve passed from death to life, from mortality into immortality, from age into agelessness, because in Christ I live in God’s realm of life. I completely refuse and reject anything that isn’t consistent with the God-life in me.

She has cervical cancer and they are planning to remove the womb. Is there any supplement or things she can do to alleviate the issue? The hospital in Enugu is not giving her any good advice except surgery and we are seriously low on cash. I have search the internet to no avail. I just need someone to help us. Please I don't want her to die. If you have any suggestion please put it under my comment. I will be here waiting.

Please can you give her carrot and celery smoothie at least twice a day

She can go on with the operation, but she needs to kill those cancer cells by taking a load of healthy antioxidants.

I read this in a book and I think it works.
Also, get healing scriptures by KE Hagin on YouTube. Download it and play it for her every day.

You shall return with a testimony.

  22. God bless all those who bring vacancies here. Times are hard and no jobs out there. There is this sister in her early 40s in Sango otta who needs something doing. She calls and laments to me all the time. I wish I was in Lagos, I would have helped her with something, be it a cook, kitchen assistant, office assistant or nanny. I wish I can help her, I feel so much pity for her and their three kids. Her hubby is a driver and not making enough for the family.
