This is just to bring to our awareness, the little mistakes made while driving that can be costly or deadly..
I boarded a Bus going to Iyana Ipaja and on getting to Ipaja Church, the driver was planning to over take a TUNDRA JEEP( 2013 model), I shouted and told him not to do so because he was on a blind spot and the driver in that jeep won't even see his bus let alone the flash light.
A good driver should be watchful and take not of the following:
*Don't always stay on blind spot when hooting or about to over take any vehicle.
*Don't over-take any vehicle when the lines on that road is not disjointed..e.g..(There is always a line drawn on the road, we have something like __________ and the second one is -----------) you don't over-take on the first one but you are free on the second one.
*The above line has a meaning.. the disjointed lines means, u are free to overtake provided that your front ahead is cleared and free and the joint lines means, do not overtake but always follow the car in front of you.
*Be mindful of the way you use your horn.. don't hoot anyhow, it has to come with a purpose or to call an attention of the driver in front or behind or beside cuz uninterrupted hooting causes distraction.
*When in any traffic or gridlock, make it mandatory to put your gear on Neutral so has to prevent stories that kills.
*Learn the use of hand-break on sloppy area and not on balanced road.
*Don't be moved by any vehicle that moves faster than yours because no competition when it comes to Road Transportation else, Mortuary is the case.
*Always give one meter or two when behind any vehicle.
*When over-taking, be mindful of ur gear system and be fast in ur movement
DONT DRIVE WITH ASSUMPTION, IT KILLS FASTER THAN COVID-19 DELTA VARIANT.

Today is a resting day for me as I came back yesterday from travel. It has been a wonderful experience so far. Truly, traveling is a part of education. Honestly, Nigeria is still lacking behind in most aspects of life.
On the anonymous poster, I've learnt never to place curse on anyone and the times I mistakenly did, I renounced and cancelled it. Life is already hard to some persons, why curse them further? ReplyDeleteStella, that person is really, truly guilty. He is guilty as charged! I typed that comment from a place of pain. I don't intentionally hurt anyone and I don't allow my mind linger on hurt caused me by someone, bcos when I do and I cry, I don't know, things just start becoming bad for such person. It might not be immediately but, it does happen and they don't usually know it's linked to me. I don't know how it happens but it does.
ReplyDeleteI have been badly hurt by a guy before and one day, I had an opportunity to revenge. Mind you, I have never taken revenge on anyone. And then, I had that still small voice say to me, "Don't do it. Vegenance is mine." While seated, I was like, "God, but you saw him do all these to me." And he said it again, "Don't do it. Vegenance is mine". I didn't do it. Cos if I did what I had in mind. Not violence. Just to make one report like that, at a place, omo, e no for funny. (Let me stop at this example).
But, you see, Stella, this time, I don't really feel like leaving it to God. Yes, I always have that thought but I push it aside cos I am so hurt. And, the young man will call, whenever he does and still talk to me mockingly, laughing underneath bcos he feels he has "won". I will just be shaking my head.
Who takes someone's kindness for granted in such a manner! Who takes someone's calmness for stupidity!
In short ehn, I can't just explain myself as much as I want to. I long to cry. Like cry so bad and say lots of things into his life but I don't know what keeps holding me back. But...
If you can't forgive after Stella have asked you to and I even said same thing, then do whatever makes you happy to the guy. Remember, you are not the owner of his life and search yourself thoroughly if you haven't hurt anyone in life. This is all I will tell you.

Thing is/what you guys ain't getting is, when someone intentionally hurts me, something bad happens to them and that is my fear. It's not a matter of forgiveness or whatever. It just happens. I would have cried over and forgotten about it, even without saying anything but when I cry in so much pain and hurt, like they just face the consequences.
